Amazing how it took lexus until 2021 for the IS to get Android Auto and CarPlay. This infotainment is at least 2 generations behind other luxury marques.

you dont buy a Lexus for the android auto/carplay. You buy it for the craftsmenship, reliability and resale value.

No but the updates are and supposedly it uninstalls the updates when your subscription ends I would probably just use carplay or Android auto

Google maps needs location permission for some reason? Lol You need to grant it permission to track you so it can work. It would have taken you ten seconds to do that so we could see what it looks like. Why are iPhone users so confused by Android? It's so simple
