The screen is also called a digitizer when looking at iPads or tablets when you have a cracked screen. It is not a module but a function of it.

So just to be clear. Amazon replaced display module got replaced with dealer part and all fine? Thats why I don't install aftermarket stereo (and other) equipment.

The Entire P17 module that includes the P7 display had to be replaced.

CUE touch screen replacement is not easy. You really have to be trained as an electronic technician and have an electronics ESD workbench in order to do the repair. Mechanically it is also a challenge because how the repair is done is unique to the CUE unit. It is not like working on a generic radio. You have to understand the proper way the different connections mate together, clean connection as you go and not over torque plastic screws.
