Bought the base model in April and I love it. I live in Pittsburgh. So I drive on very hilly roads with lots of potholes. Honestly, the drive is very comfortable even on bad roads. The fuel economy is crazy good. I’m getting more than Lincoln advertised on the sticker. There is TONS of room. We fit 5 people who are tall very comfortably. The base model gives you lots of luxury. You really don’t need to add tons of options such as messaging seats. These options increase the price and aren’t worth it. Gas and plug-in Corsairs with the same options are about the same price. There is only two things that I don’t like 1. The piano shift. I don’t like having to reach over to the passenger side to put the car in drive. I like the Lincolns that have the shift vertical next to the steering wheel. 2. In the base model, Lincoln doesn’t add the light up welcome mat outside of the car. That just seems very cheap to me. Also, when you drive under 25 miles per hour, the added electric sound is an ugly moan. Sounds like a space ship. I guess it’s for safety so people hear you coming. My husband hates it. I got use to the sound.

How is the road noise on rough pavement?

Steve, you know not of what you speak. Push button trans is quickly mastered in no time. Besides how often do you even touch it.....twice per ride? My 2020 2.3 L Corsair Reserve not only is "frisky" and handles surprisingly well but has been totally reliable and solid and affordable to maintain.....can't say that for the Germans! As a bonus, in spite of the bigger motor, my average mpg is between 8.5 and 8.8l/100K. Have never hit 10l/100 to date. My only beef with the car......it's built in Mitch McConnell's state

Au contraire Nick. Couldn’t wait to return it to National Car Rental. I expected more refinement from Lincoln, instead of high road noise, average ride quality & a push button tranny. As for long term reliability, I would even give Jeep Wranglers a nod for better reliability than current German or Swedish vehicles. And that’s saying a lot! But Ford/Lincoln will never meet or exceed Japanese built quality & reliability. Otherwise, the Corsair is just another average CUV with a “has been” & “wannabe” luxury branding. The fact that it’s built in Kentucky is one of its few good attributes though.

I was VERY interested in this vehicle until my U.S. (Ohio) dealer quoted $65K (U.S.) with the $12,000 dealer adjustment added.

I ordered mine from Jack Demmer Lincoln in Detroit. $1,500 under msrp and 2.9% rate. I just gotta buy a $50 train ticket from Chicago to Detroit to pick it up lol

I hear Ford's trying to crack down on those "dealer adjustments". I'd be curious to see how long this continues.

I really like the direction Lincoln has and is going. I wonder why Ford chose to give the Corsair PHEV AWD but not the Escape PHEV.

I want to know. Holding off buying the Escape PHEV because it doesnt have an AWD option.

Rented one for a week. Push button trans sucks. Lots of road noise. Bad reliability reputation.

Excellent video. To confirm, when the battery hits 0, there’s still another hybrid battery operating concurrently?
@JustinPritchard

Technically the same battery. A zero on the gauge doesn't mean it's empty, but rather, it just doesn't have enough juice for continued all electric driving. Gas engine needs to kick in. When it does, it keeps the remaining portion of the battery sustained. Unless there's a malfunction, it's not possible to run the battery down to "empty"
