Would love to see them try to sell the karroo over here. A custom tray option would be interesting. Front and rear e.lockers like i believe gwm has just done may increase the appeal also.

Easy comparison, hope you can also do a comparison of the trims/specs these are offered in from S6 to S11

I need to find them lined up to get a proper video but that's not hard to do. Should put it on the list.

Love these bakkies just wish they could update those rear brake lights doesnt fit the front of the bakkie

I think even the front halogen lights need to be updated. Especially because they are not as strong at night. LEDs just work better even in the bundus

They would have to up the engine as this 2.2 would not win in USA compared to other "trucks"🤔

Nice small around up video.😺🤓 Personally I would buy this vehicle for what it’s being designed. Doesn’t look the best but I love bakkies kitted out with off-road gear since I’m adventure friendly🙂😎😎🤗🥾. I’m disappointed with the towing capacity of 2,5t but then again 103kw/320nm shows the reason as there isn’t much torque. The next generation should address the engine being slightly more powered. But then again most smaller caravans are little less than two tons so should do ok.🙃 For less than R700k it’s serious competition for SA bakkie but I still think most customers would go buy a preowned hilux or Ranger. These things were made for tough conditions and rigorous work. I wish to see more of them on the road. This and a roof tent for me with personalized canopy for outdoor accessories and I’m good to go. 🤓 Thanks Sebuwa Congratulations 🎊 on the 5k mark my friend 🤞🏾🤗🥲

Big thanks Ozem for always being supportive and taking your valuable time to share your thoughts with us. Much appreciated🙂🙂🙂👏🏽 On the vehicles, I have to say, I was suprised by the quality they have and thinking Mahindra made this to tackle hard offroad issues makes me think they understood the assignment and stuck to the rules of it. A little bump in the power and torque figures can do the job at least +140kw/450nm can make them do the work with ease, surely. I really think they are on the right track though, these bakkies are really well screwed together by just touching them. Never drove them to feel how they are but I was impressed with what's on offer. I can choose any of this to go to Namibia or camp. They are also priced well, I am not suprised why adventure lovers are buying them🤞🏾

I think the reason we see a slightly less power is because reliability and longevity of the engine is regarded as more important than performance when it comes to this type of vehicle, if the power is bumped up, the engine will be more stressed, therefore more expensive materials and parts will be needed if we were to chase both performance and longevity. The same could be said for the land cruiser 70 series.

Love the black, looks mean and in for the job. The paint though is likely going to be the least fav in a few years time if you do a lot of offroading and passing in narrow paths with branches on the side😰😰😰
