MAHINDRA KAROO BUDGET 4x4 OR REAL CONTENDER? 4x4 REVIEW - DE WILDT

We test the Mahindra Karoo Dawn 4x4 and it is an interesting bakkie. But is it goud enough?

Check infotainment screen, you can find average fuel consumption, distance to empty etc..😊😊

I found on my Dawn that L2 works best, the wheel tends to rotate a bit faster and the diff lock thus engages faster and is less violent.

Mahindra is ok for the price but if i had the money to spend on a bakkie it wouldn't be on a mahindra. I have had 5 mahindras in the past 18 years. It did improve from previous models but there is one problem that mahindra SA do not want or can not resolve and that is the propshaft center bearing that keep failing in wet or sandy conditions every few (3) months and good luck on getting mahindra parts so you buy aftermarket part when your warranty expires. If you use this bakkie on gravel roads a lot good luck. For this reason i will not buy a mahindra again !!
