Non availability of sliding 2nd row : its not a deal breaker , even the xuv500 doesnt have sliding seats , i used it for 9 years and doesn’t felt the need of it! 2nd row no air vents : 2nd row ac is a different AC unit altogether , so its sufficient for rear ac requirements! What u guys want , 2 different ac units or one ac unit in front and only vents in 2nd and 3rd row ! Ventilated seats : yes its a miss ! But remember even mighty Fortuner added this last year only ! So before that even at 40 lacs people don’t get ventilated seats ! No car is perfect! Its just your needs that need to be addressed preferably at a sweater price point! Here you are getting 80% of Fortuner if not 100% ( 20% less for Toyota Reliability) at 50% price !

Surprised to see why there are issues like Camera clarity/Lag in camera (basic feature required for safety) & No Sliding seats in 2nd row. With sliding feature actually this would had gained much millage as family car. Even after folding 3rd row..the boot space doesn't increase as it's increased in Xuv700 by making 3rd row flat along with boot. Asides, Gaurav Ji thanks a lot for all your hard efforts.👏👏

Boot door is a plus .. agar mujhe ek laptop rakhna hai toh mein Zara sa door khol ke rakh sakta hoon.. Upper ko jo boot door khulta hai usey band karne ke liye thoda pressure apply karna padta hai otherwise wo wapas khul jata hai.. Yeh wala door is just a simple door that may be easily closed.. I beleive Aisa door is more convenient than the door that opens upward.. It should be shown as advantage in videos rathe than a missing feature ... Waisey toh driver and codriver doors bhi upper ko khulte toh parking mein khadi car se bahar niklna aasaan ho jata..

It's high time ,For an Indian car manufacturing company especially Mahindra & Tata to realized that If at all company is bringing out 3rd row Seat ,They have to ensure that 2nd row should be a Slider One .Moreso,In my opinion 3rd row seat should also be provided with Slider option ,Since once we try to use 3rd row seat there is no Space left at all for luggage ,So better utilize 3rd row seat for better Sitting convenience rather than making it for a namesake purpose.

There is a substantial ignorance in us Indians about the difference between monocque and ladder/body on frame chassis. I rarely see any so called Automotive youtubers/reviewers going into detail about it. Only ladder/body on frame vehicles are SUVs, rest are not. Scorpio is a rear wheel drive ladder/body on frame vehicle.. Its comparison cannot be made with so called compact SUVs (they are not suvs but crossovers) or MUV like Innova. A fair comparison can only be made with other ladder/body on frame chassis vehicle like Thar or Fortuner. Even Safari is a monocoque.

I have test drove this vehicle, trust me the AC is damn powerful. Yes the camera clarity is bit on the lower side but personally I don’t feel this is a con. The specs and engine is amazing, drive it once to feel the difference.

Sir would you tell us that scorpio N 4x4 kerb weight is 2670 kg and fortuner 4x4 is 2140 kg. Fortuner has 500 NM torque and scorpio has 400 NM torque. Scorpio N will perform very poor in offroading and will run very sluggish. Looks all reviewers are sold , no one wants to talk the reality. And fools are going gaga over..rear wheel chasis..4x4. Its better to take xuv 700 or safari in that cost that will take you anywhere faster and can tackle offroad also.

For everyone in the comment section.. this is not meant to have this feature that features... remember it's the features that add up to the cost.. bad camera quality/ laggy screen that crashes sometimes, tumbled 3rd row eats away 40% of boot space, bad after sales service, etc. .. having all these in proper quality adds up to lakhs of rupees and the model which has all these features would cost 26-27 lakhs on road.. so it aint't that cheap either.. so @Amit Gambhir, I also appreciate the fact mahindra is leaping ahead quite a bit but to not consider all these features when mahindra themselves claim it's for urban masses would not be a great comment.. PS: I myself booked XUV 700 AX7 but had to cancel it after knowing a hell lot of electronics issues faced by other xuv 700 owners.

Top end model prices of Scorpio N is very near to XUV7oo. Thus people prefer more on XUV7oo. Mahindra is trying to cash the urgency of its customers thorough Scorpio N with a high price as the XUV7oo has a two year waiting period.

Frankly, I don't find these as "BIG" cons apart from ventilated seats and fixed 2nd row. This is SCORPIO which is known for its ruggedness, masculinity and engine power. It has never been a "feature oriented" car so comparing it with Seltos, Creta is unfair. You have XUV700 for feature lovers. Having said that, still a lot has been improved and incorporated such as Alexa support, impeccable sound quality, plush interiors etc. Moreover, the price at which this is offered is unmatchable. PS: I am not a Mahindra fan but work in automobile industry so can say that our Indian companies have really transpired in terms of delivering "value for money" cars.

door side storage space is low. difficult to keep and remove one liter water bottle. they should offer a 5 seater option like xuv700 as many people would like it as third row seating is poor. also the vehicle can be little bit more fuel efficient without the extra weight of the third row seat for those people. bootspace would also increase. many people might say "just remove the third row seat if you want " but the question is where do you keep it after removing that seat. just a junk in the house taking up space. that's why I would like a 5 seater option. why carry 20 kg of unwanted weight all the time?

ALL CONS VERY WELL POINTED - Brown Interiors not rich enough , feel cheap in a 20Lakh + car , Poor under thigh support in all seats , Worst 3rd row of any 5 +2 car in India ( forget calling this a 7seater ), V poor interior space management - No boot space. Mahindra should have kept it a pure 5 seater car with sliding middle row. Pros -- Handsome car- no doubt looks great from any angle , Road presence , Potent Engine and Gearbox options.
