Built mine up from a Frame with XT/SLX components, XT wheels, AssegaiAggressor DD tires, Domain Fork, 180mm Dropper, Titanium saddle. With all my tools, spare tube, water bottle I tip the scale at 36lbs all in.

I don't understand the sub-par kit on such a killer frame. No wonder it's almost 34lbs. I built mine up with middle of the road parts and it weighs 31.8lbs. Completely changes the experience. Such an amazing bike. I prefer this over the Chromag Stylus I had before it.

I think they really just wanted to stick to a friendly price point while speccing a really nice fork on a bonkers sweet frame. Biggest stinkers are the rims and brakes. Though, I find the brakes to be adequate. Rims are too much. I'll be building a nicer wheelset this summer and probably switching to a Microshift group.

Very helpful, thank you. I was trying to decide between a growler, rootdown, or this!

Good video! I have a Rocky Mountain Growler and have really beaten up the frame. I don’t think it has much life left lol! Was thinking about picking up one of these frames as a replacement. I’m 5’10” which calls for a grande, but the specs make it look way to big for me?

nah dude. the M feeled like to big for me. but its spot on. first 2 weeks i will think i bought the wrong size. then u will love it

I've got about 4 rides in on mine, and I'm constantly impressed. If you like crushing it on the downhill, this is a great bike for it. That said, I did clear some stuff on climbs today that I normally wouldn't.

My question is Is that real the El Roy is the biggest and longest bike in the market ? And my wight is 99 kg is okay with this bike? Because I have tried other bikes after while the frame was not okay . I hope i get answers soon Thank you
@CobraKyle2 жыл бұрын
Hello! I don't know if it's biggest/longest in market. I just said it's the biggest one I've been on. Steel frames are quite a bit tougher, so this bike should be able to accommodate your weight!

Hardcore Hardtail vs Full sus Trail Bike
@CobraKyle2 жыл бұрын
That's a tough choice! Also a great video idea. I feel like the outcome would be: Full suspension faster, hardtail more fun! Hopefully I can get my hands on another hardtail like the El Roy and put them head to head!
