2022 MasterCraft XT24 Walkthrough

Heidi Moore, General Manager at Skier's Marine Gainesville, walks us through MasterCraft's all-new XT24.
Sporting all-new bold gel lines, a refined interior, increased ballast capacity to 3600 pounds, and an updated SurfStar surf system (replaces Gen2), the new MasterCraft XT24 delivers.
New for 2022 includes three new tower options; standard Z6 with clamping racks, Z8 adds power-assisted folding, and the all power Z10.
Other new 2022 enhancements include a new software UI, new transom flip seats, windshield and tower color matching, a new standard windshield, a new transom walkthrough, and additional cockpit flip-up rear-facing seats.

Question... instead of ballast and plates... why not deploy a inverted hydrofoil? A upside down wing or 2 would jam the boat low in the water more efficiently than adding thousands of pounds of ballast. Have the whole thing tied into the cpu for smooth awesomeness.

Malibu does that

Malibu does it and it works pretty well. The fear of ripping it out when you hit something keeps most manufacturers from doing that. Plus it only pulls down the back of the boat. A lot of boats need weight in the front to form good waves

I was thinking in the front too. Something that sits flush with hull when not deployed. Also why don’t these guys run diesel engines?

@@toddhewett1027 Maybe not a bad idea. In the back it doesn‘t really need to sit flush because the Prop sticks out underneath too. And even if there are pictures of Malibu rears ripped out. It‘s not like it is a common occurence. We will see what the next few years will bring. Wakeboats came very far the last decade. Diesels are just to loud. Electric will be the future ain a few decades but batterys are far from it as of now.

Next up will be the out dated engines. For what we pay, and what we are stuck with, its pathetic. When a discontinued ford 6.2L is the freshest design, you know something is wrong. Would like to see something like an inboard version of the verado v12 installed in our boats. Along with that engine, a multispeed trans would be nice too. MC boats have always looked “racey” with the sponsons out front, might as well back design up.

That is what is great about MasterCraft’s Cool Feel seat technology. The black seats feel like light grey from other manufacturers. The black also holds up amazingly well and does not show dirt. A large percentage of our clients prefer black or dark brown, all other colors only make up a small percentage of sales.
