You got the right amount of water with the main course. MCWs are good. The only thing I would change is that the main course packages would have the option to close the bag when it is rehydrating.

Thank you for watching and commenting my friend. Yes, I agree, A zip top on bags would be nice. I used A clothes pin to seal up. Older versions, had plastic, twist tie clips. They were clear bags back then, and had cardboard slabs, bottom and top. Newer ones contain, Mtn. house packaging with zip top. Like all meals, they evolve. Peace, Keep warm friend.

Hi John...Once again, a great review my friend!...Like most people I think the MCW mains are better (both in taste and quantity) over the regular mre's. The corn nuggets are something not seen over the pond here in the UK ........ So I always count myself lucky when I find a pack. "Bills Brew" I have the exact opposite experience. I have only ever found 1 pack which wasn't mouldy or compromised? . I don't know if you are lucky (or I am unlucky) with that one my friend?.....Once again, it looked like a well rounded and enjoyable meal combination.....Keep you and yours safe and well my friend!...and looking forward to your next one....ATB....Mick

LOL, unsure on coffee issue. Neither of us will have to worry after the 2023 rations anyway. I think 2 rations out of the 24 in our case A and case B are the only ones that contain coffee? I can live without coffee in these, but we are due coffee in rations, LOL. Like you having your tea taken away, it is not normal. I sincerely hope the powers that be, rethink this situation.
