Although more expensive, kudos to Mercedes for being the only company from the three-way partnership to offer it with an automatic transmission. The other two companies, Renault and Nissan, offer their respective models only with a mandatory manual transmission. Apparently out of "stubbornness", to punish you for buying diesel, because as companies they have now declared an indirect "war" on diesel.
