Owner here of MG RX5 , for the past three years - My first issue: whole steering - cguro baka sa areas ko na maputik ang daanan or or minsan malubak 2nd issue: uphill sa parking area namin sa office - hirap pag dka magbwelo - hindi pwede pagapang.. cguro dahil 1.5 ang makina at 2wheel drive lang. 3rd issue: Aircon - need na cguro palinisan ang evaporator dahil mabaho na amoy.. still malamig pa naman mabaho lang. 4th issues- Ussualy encounter when I am in Express way - @60kph onwards i experience high rev. , lakas ng ugung ng makina when you push the gas pedal. High rev , but the speed slowly down then after a few seconds nawawala naman, pero nakakatakot kc Baka biglang bumulusok ng mabilis dahil sa high rev. , I think , Turbo is need to be set when you are running 60kph and above. Gas - matipid pag no traffic.

Kung engine performance at fuel consumption mas okay si RX5. Pero sa seating capacity, comfort and reliability mas okay ang xpander or rush. I would still recommend japanese cars if you are planning to keep it for a long time. 🙂

Based on experience sir malaki ang difference. Especially when overtaking or picking up speed. Talaga mas ramdam mo ang engine response niya.

From what I recall, MG is now under SAIC motors which is a Chinese company. It was previously owned by a European company and was bought by SAIC. Even though it’s technically a Chinese car now, the SAIC motors retained its European heritage.
