It's not so much a love for the bike.....as it is for the effort it takes just to start a race, only to have it end 5 minutes later. They want to get back on and go....LOL

You mean the works teams check on the bikes and work on them. The riders do f all other then race them and report tweaks etc

Well, i have to say, it takes balls, big balls to race like that. 180 mph, and high side, crazy, man. my little Rebel 500 goes 90 mph, or faster, but not with me on it. these guys are good at what they do. i love watching, but 90 is fast enough for me.

I recall a few months back, that 17 year old racer getting hit by racers which killed him instantly. Remember seeing video of the kid trying to get up from his crash only to get hit by 100mph racer. The worst scenerio of these races are the ones getting hit by oncoming bikers going 100mph.

I rarely see Moto GP multi rider crashes. These lower classes seem to panic and pile up.

That's because in the lower classes with the smaller bikes they have to stay in each other's slipstream, so the racing is closer that way, that's why when one crashes there's often a pile-up of them.
