They really gotta to stop them from stepping over the line. The problem is if one does it, everyone does. It's such a nonsensical and unsportsmanlike advantage. Also the lighting, background, video quality and camera angles once again were just plain terrible. This is supposed to be the pinnacle of bodybuilding and it's presented like an amateur show. I dont think politics were left at the door for ramy. I think the guest posing and lack of appearances hurt him. He was off by a larger margin last my year. It wasent till people saw his position on stage that we thought there was any trouble for ramy.. Dont get me wrong, I dont think he should have won last year to hadi, but he could have come 2-3 here. Reigning champ still brought the package he is known for, and did look better than last year overall package, to his credit. Just out of respect to the reigning champ, would have phased him out a little slower.. A melted phil heath came in third. A tattered up dorian kept winning years beyond what he should have. 5th place to ramy was dirty imo D:

I think it was simply due to Jim Manion being pissed about how Ramy basically disappeared, especially from the Pittsburgh Pro while also taking so long to explain himself/apologize. I hate to say that too because he really is incredible, but as long as he’s competing against guys who are also incredible, and have the better shape than him, he’s not going to win I don’t think. I really hope he gets the lat spread figured out. I don’t see any improvement in that pose from last year. If I remember correctly, his front lat spread at the Chicago pro (his pro debut I think) wasn’t near as bad. Maybe it’s to do with the extra muscle he’s packed on since that time? I don’t know lol I’m far from an expert, just a fan.
