I drove this car on a 940 km trip in under 10 hours and didn’t feel tired at all at the end. If you have the Meridian sound system, you also have noise cancellation. The massaging seats also help.

The best sound system I have heard to date is the full Meridian surround sound system on the big Range Rover. It will make you realize that there is room for improvement on many other automotive sound systems.

@@ajf5745 In my opinion, the Range Rover Meridian Surround Sound system is better. I don’t have the most experience with the ELS system, but have experienced it before in the new MDX. I do enjoy it, but I could’ve tested it more with my preferred settings and songs to have a truly fair comparison. It is a great improvement over the older Honda Accord / Acura TLX basic audio of years past.

New S class was a disappointment tbh. Cheap feeling materials, overly complicated infotainment controls, annoying safety features. It was too much tech and not enough luxury. This RR hits a better balance.

@@alh06 Strange, we’ve had multiple 5.0s and 3.0 TDV6 Range Rovers over the past 10 years last well over 130k miles with proper maintenance. Cant comment on the 2.0 Ingenium models as we’ve never owned one but I have heard they’re crap through other people. Every manufacturer has a bad batch I suppose.

i really want to love this car but im really surprised by all the noises it makes. even on video i could tell the road impacts are quite loud, quite a bit of wind noise, the various electric motors throughout the car make a lot of noise too. i think the X7/GLS are more refined amazingly

For $130k. Everything seems loud. The door handles should be silent when they pop out…the electric steering wheel should be silent….the way the glovebox and arm rest shuts should be more muted…I just feel the attention to those little things validates a six figure price tag that can go over $200k

Oh wow, my favourite full size luxury SUV! The new Range Rover looks so sleek, clean and modern inside and out. Love it! Looks better and more refined than the facelift of the prior generation, which already looked great! Also, isn't the 3.0L a 48V mild hybrid? Another thing, in Europe there will be not one, but two PHEV variants of the Range Rover. One or both of them should come to North America in the near future.

Range Rover always drive like a boat, the steering is too light in my opinion since they adjust the suspension softer than other cars. But some people do like it:)

A customer brought one of these into our shop with 7k miles and it was leaking coolant and had codes for air suspension failure. They're nice cars but complete junk. Its funny bc theyre pretty much overpriced status symbols that make you look dumb in the long run.

The engine in the m5 is the s63 v8. The range rover uses the n63 v8 found in cars like the m550i, x5 m50i, and 850i. They're both 4.4L twin-turbo v8s so the confusion is understandable.
