Did you by any chance make a heat shield ? I just installed my can , figuring out how to heat shield it , either the can or a plate ?

Better add a heat shield for your recoil rope or one day you will go to pull it and end up with just the handle. Had happen to me on my 19 850 rmk with ggb cab

Did you forget the rubber piece for the bottom mount frame?

It looks like you are absolutely right. I just looked at the factory muffler and the rubber piece was stuck in there. Thank you for pointing that out!
