Totally, just show whatever you feel like. Vintage, brand new, 2 years old 😆 And also this little guy is the cutest, I've ever seen 🤣🤣🤣 you made me say it 😋 But really, the set looks adorable. I was hoping you'd say that the bubble feature works great but well... (I love bubbles 🤩) it was still a good idea. From the overall look it reminds me a little of the vintage Dolphin Island from 96 with the transpatent tank around. But different feature of course.

Oh it is quite similar to Dolphin Island, isn’t it? I hadn’t even thought of that! I know one person in a review of it said the bubbles worked great. 🤔 Maybe it was just me haha or the bubble liquid I used wasn’t very good. The bottom of the packaging for this set had an expiration date, which must be for the bubble liquid. I never even realize bubble liquid expired. 😂 If it does, the liquid I used is probably expired, because I’ve had it a long time haha! 💗💗💕💕

@@RachelRetro I can't imagine bubble liquit can expire🤣🤣🤣 can soap or shampoo expire??? Perfume can, so I guess they, too but I can't imagine the bubble liquid has gone bad after 2 years. I could understand if this was a vintage set and the liquid was in there for 30 years~ haha

I know! I couldn’t figure out why the packaging had a date with the year 2024 on it…But all I could figure was for the bubbles! 😂 Such a weird concept to me that it actually could expire haha certainly, like you said, if it was vintage. But surely bubble liquid doesn’t go bad that quickly! 😆

Also, I’d think the bubble liquid bottle itself would have an expiration date, if it actually expires. But it was just stamped on the bottom of the cardboard box the set came in. 🤷‍♀️

I live in El Salvador. Last year I found it at a local toy store for US $60 😆 But I loved the idea of ​​the classic fish tank.

In my opinion the purple table is great for play because there is a fish in the set i use as food for the pollys 😂 I like to use the table as a stove 😂❤

I would have adored that treasure chest as a kid. I was obsessed wt them, lol. In DK we had an icecream that came in a plastic treasure chest and then at the bottom there was a piece of plastic u could flip up wt a fingernail, and then there'd be a "secret treasure", usually stickers or temporary tatoos. I loved it, even tho the icecream was kinda boring, lol. I dunno if it was a Danish thing or not, they didn't have it in other countries I went to. After the 90's they discontinued it, which was kinda a shame. Wow that was a tangent. ^^;

I love tangents! 💕 And I love hearing about childhood memories. I had to look up that ice cream, because I had never heard of it before! From what I found, it was called Treasure, by a company called Ola? Is that right? My grandma’s name was Ola. 🥰 And those ice creams look SO cute and fun! 💕💕

Well, I tend to always think the compacts are cuter than the Pollyville sets. Unless we were talking about vintage Pollyville, then those are every bit as cute as the compacts. 🥰 But I honestly don’t have very many of the new Pollyville sets, so I couldn’t say much about the Pollyville Aquarium with any real authority haha. I think the Bubble Aquarium is adorable and definitely worth purchasing. But if you’re wanting some big Pollyville sets, I say go for it! If you’re drawn to it, then I’m sure you’ll love it! 💕 The arcade set is sooo cute! Just near impossible to close with all the pieces inside. I think Mattel thought they’d be funny by making a video game themed set where you had to literally play Tetris with the pieces to get the set to close. 😂

@@RachelRetro thanks for replying 💋💋. I also don't quite like the new pollyville collections as much as I like the compacts. The bigger sets I mentioned are just the quilted theme park backpack and gumball bear machine (that's all I owned), so naturally I gravitate more towards the bubble aquarium, that's already big for me who owns mostly compacts. But just wanted to hear your opinion as well 😍❤️.

I actually don’t have the backpack or Gumball machine! I do try to stick to the smaller compacts (though who are we kidding…new compacts aren’t that small either 😂). I will almost always buy the new compacts, but the bigger sets, I try to look them over carefully and make sure I really want them before committing to having to find a spot for them in my already cramped, limited space haha. I actually quite like the modern, very small compacts that typically came with rubber legs Polly that came out a couple years back. They’re very simple, so there’s not much detail or much going on inside the compacts, but the fact that they are so small and simple reminds me of the simplicity and ease of vintage sets. Plus they’re easy to store and display! 🥰
