A little string wax makes the slides exponentially easier to install.

I think it's funny when new people get into archery and whatever anyone else decides on the learning curve time period would be, wether that be their first season or their first 5 years, it's probably most likely different with everyone, but then when some of the archers say, they wonder how it feels when it shoots, the bigger question should be, "" have you already established yourself a good pattern, and can you still drive straight ,but the speed of the bow is what it is,

I agree, archery is a very personable sport. Everything is different for everyone

Dude nice video but the RamRods stabilizers are supposed to have the tungsten face to the weights not to the bow

I’ve shot it both ways and with the bars being tapered I’ve found it feels better for me having it this way. Thanks for watching!

Great bow build but it looks like you used a bit to much glue on the fletchings at 14:32.

Probably, I have a tendency to do that but I prefer it to not having enough. Thanks for the support 🙏

Hi, while tuning the PSE Rtx 37 I saw that you put the Bowmar Grip Tape on. Great material, however I wonder why you didn't remove the transparent film on the side of the Tape Grip that it rests on your hand. Is there a reason or ....
@DeadHeadArchery2 жыл бұрын
I didn't at first until I realized the grip was slippery, then I noticed the film and took it off.

OK, thanks ...... I had a doubt that I was wrong to remove it .... Thanks and greetings@@DeadHeadArchery

always thought d-loop knots were supposed to go facing opposite directions, but you did them facing the same side. does that not matter very much in reality? seems like a high level rig like that would want to have every advantage, yeah? edit: later on with the purple fletched arrows it does look like its tied with opposite knots, did you do it twice or am i crazy? lol
@DeadHeadArchery2 жыл бұрын
the knots were always opposite but when I watched it, it looked like they were going the same way initially. Thanks for watching.

Does the dloop string really need to be that long? I usually make mine 2x shorter and it works great with less air resistance.

Part 2, your bow arm will infact move in the direction that it's holding completely opposite of the release hand, it has to, other wise you would never operate the bow, before the arrow leaves that bow, there will be enough time as that arrow leaves that bow, wether your using the old style or the new style of rest that's on the market today, apparently from the many videos I have seen, this area of time lapse, the compound bow operation is propelling the into flight, but as distance rapidly shortens down, even with the drop away rest that have shown apparent proof positive, there's enough time and weight of the arrow to maintain connection between the two points of activation going into flight, but once this gravitational force has been changed into a direction, this is when side to side windage suddenly becomes instant flight, for the past 80 odd years of the modern compound bow, since the invention of the wheeled bow, all the stresses of archery have become amplified, and yes, there has been a hell of a lot of evolution of engineering and design, GOD, knows there's plenty of it, because I think there's a stuff about archery that never gets really finished when someone goes into archery, I could say a lot more, but I'll leave it there,
@DeadHeadArchery2 жыл бұрын
Definitely a lot goes into it for sure.

I'm gonna go out on another tangent, and put another view point this twist, there are as they,,,pros n cons, as it will be Positives and negatives, the cons or negatives are as ,however you want to look at them, a person or student can be a relatively reasonable archery, if they take their time and keep everything patiencely as possible, or seek the best possible help or instruction that might be available in their area, but depending on how much of the mechanics of your archery tackle that your willing to learn for your own maintenance, is always the best way to go, but one thing will always be standing right in front of you steering you back at your face, and that is ,,,something's are just plane fact, PROPERLY correct technical maintenance, wether it be a high majority or a high 90%, the maintenance body of compound bow maintenance is limb balance/equity, cam timing n balance, all the touches on the string work, alignment this n that, the sight system you choose is yours personal thought, and your rest for center shot paper tuning is probably the same exact thing with everyone, probably 95% ,the paper tuning hole is near perfection, it is possible but it takes patience, everyone has to understand one very important detail when it comes to side to side windage, when both of your hands are in aiming ready for releasing that shot, only human beings are older than any man made tools, the principle of archery is this, there's gonna be a little movement before that arrow leaves that bow,during the releasing of torque, this is all split second timing,
@DeadHeadArchery2 жыл бұрын
Patience is key with archery, unfortunately humans are results driven and with that, they tend to want to speed up the shot in order to view their results faster. This tends to lead to overlooking the details that you are describing. As much as it sucks, the slower you are the better in archery, in my opinion anyway. Thanks for the comments.
