Nice 3-in-1 review! The review was still detailed and informative as usual, even though you had to include more headsets than usually. I feel that in this case a 3-in-1 review was probably better, as the headsets belong to the same headset line. That made comparing the headsets easier. It's great that also the more known companies, such as Razer, are starting to notice your work and send you their products for reviewing. By the way, I finally bought the EPOS H6PRO headset (closed model) based on your recommendation and my first impression of it is very positive. I was able to find it at a price of 85 EUR (approximately 90 USD), so I decided to go for it. It seems to be very nice for listening to music too, which cannot be said about too many gaming headsets.

I’m so glad I found your channel. I’m going with the 2022 Barracuda for my next pc gaming headphones. I was looking for a white color 50mm driver wireless headset but Felt I had exhausted all my options looking online but I will settle for black since these seem to have everything else Im looking for! I love the long lengthy detail video format too. Thanks for the deep dive it was very insightful. I have a question about the baracuda pro. Does your audio quality dip when you join a discord, zoom, or phone call when ANC/transparancy mode is on? I returned my first pair because I thought it was a hardware limitation. Come to find out the second pair does it as well. It only happens when ANC or transpairancy mode is active. But when the headset has both options turned off the audio quality goes back to normal. I've watched other reviews and I haven't seen anyone talk about it. When I change windows volume it also changes the volume in obs, I imagine these infinite headset wheels would also mess with obs volume and that's a deal breaker for me. Amazing video 10/10

How is the clamping force compared to other headsets like artis 3 hyper x stinger or sony xm3? Only the stinger have been a headset I was ableto wear because I have TMJ which makes it really hard to find a good headset.

Does the Barracuda Pro have the same angled baffle as the Barracuda X and Barracuda? I was thinking of grabbing the Pro's, but an angled baffle is a must for me. I always find flat designs uncomfortable. *edit* Also, Razer sells replacement earpads for the Pro's. Looks like the clip off (ie like the XM4).

Very good indepth review. I was hesitant to get these and desperately looking for an alternative that apparently doesn't exist. I've heard a lot of people saying they sound bad and they aren't loud at all but you went out and showed the graphs (even if i don't really understand them), but it's obvious you know what you're talking about. Very nice deep dive. I am considering the Barracuda X and plan to use them for daily phone/video calls mostly. I'm curious how the earcups isolate from other people talking nearby and does the mic pick up any unwanted surrounding chatter?

Just to clarify, when you say sound quality vs sound stage...Are you saying that the out of box audio is the “sound quality” that the drivers naturally are tuned for? Whereas “sound stage” is the customization options the software allows you to get out of the product?

Hi, great reviews I mean, u got enough experience in the topic, so I am in Brazil so, for example on Amazon the $100 Barracuda X, costs approx $280 because of taxes, and I would be on a budget for the headset I would use the Headset to work remotely on Linux, use Bluetooth, play on PC and PS4, probably with the dongle, and listen to music all the time. Would the Barracuda X fit these use cases? Or would the Barracuda do so? I ain't even thinking about the Barracuda Pro because it is so way out of my budget since with taxes it would be approx $600 Anyways, thanks for the help!!

The Barracudas are currently $80 new from Amazon and they even have a couple open box ones for $60 through Amazon Warehouse. Not the X, the regular ones! This seems like an insane deal to me. I'm trying to choose a wireless headset to go with my PSVR2 and it came down to the Barracudas and the Arctis Nova 7 but for only $60, less than half what I go could the Nova 7's for, the Barracudas seem like a no brainer?

The measurements for standard Barracuda and Pro are very good, above average for the category. Beautiful extension down to 10Hz, I like the drivers that have a margin of correction, Razer then also seems good at matching drivers, at least on the more expensive headphones. But the thing that no one seems to notice is that the Pro incorporates a THX AAA amplifier, it would be really interesting to see how the Pro performs at high volume or in the dynamic range, although it may sound like the usual marketing gimmick this is serious stuff.

I bought Barracudas standard yesterday and i'm really shocked with sound, i have amazing Hi-Fi shop where you can test virtually every headphones from 50$ to 5000$, i was testing 5 bluetooth top reated headphones from 150$ to 250$ and 150$ Barracudas standard just sounded better for my taste im really happy.

Hi, I have the Barracuda X 2021 version and when I plug the 2.4ghz dongle to my iPad PRO or my Galaxy Tab s8 and when I enable microphone on games like Call of Duty mobile, Discord, Apex Legends mobile, I only hear sound on the left side of the headset. But when mute the mic from the games it works normally and I can hear sound on both sides of the headset. 1. Does the Barracuda X 2022 still have this issue when using the 2.4ghz dongle on the iPad PRO or Galaxy Tab s8 or any android phone on those games? 2. How is the latency when on BT and on gaming mode? 3. And does it retain the gaming mode settings when you use it on other devices without the Razer app? Thank you

I didn’t care for the Corsair virtuoso rgb so it’s on it’s way back. Having Bluetooth would be cool but not necessary for me. Is the basic barracuda that much behind the pro? I also found the controls very confusing on the virtuoso. Great video as always!

I think I answered your question elsewhere, but if you don't need a good quality mic, I would go with the Barracuda Pro! Otherwise, the 7X or Stealth 700 Gen2 Max are the runner ups.

Loud white noise when ANC is turned above 5 on the Pro's is really off putting to me. Having to keep ANC at level 5 instead of 10 really sucks because it really lets in a lot of the outside sound that would otherwise be blocked. I really love the pro's, except for this one thing that might cause me to return them.

I've been looking for a pair of headphones that have bluetooth to connect to my phone to listen to music while also being easy to connect to my PC while I'm working and have a 3.5mm jack and mic for PS4 gaming. Hi just sold the 2021 barracuda I mentioned I bought the other week cause if this LOL, what a timing. But these upgrades are stellar. Currently torn between the x and non x. I was leaning towards the non x just cause I prefer not having the boom mic. However, listening to your audio sample for the mics on the non x barracuda on my phone I felt like my ears were working hard to make out what you were saying. How do people in your games/call react with the non x mic? Any comments about you not being that clear/audible? (No plans to use noise cancelling).

Also oddly enough, the difference between the 2.4 and the bluetooth mic audio sounds pretty significant on the barracuda regular. I would have thought the 2.4 would have sounded better but it sounds pretty bad in comparison

Quick question for you: I just got the barracuda x 2021 at a huge discount at microcenter (~$63USD). That one isn't able to connect to the app correct? @@StuckOnAFireHydrant in my case yep, i do extremely enjoy the barracuda, love the way it looks, the freedom of wireless, decent quality of the mic, all the things it seemed to suck at before (battery life, no bluetooth) got fixed for me. Coming from a $150+ pc38x. It hought the $70 barracuda x felt like a steal, that getting the 2022 at $100 still feels more value for money than anything out there. I dont think the app is useful. If you want bluetooth and the better battery life and felt the $60 you paid for it feels a lot less than jt actually feels then you should just pony up the extra $40 to get something that is in my opinion almost perfect (perfect for me would have been the non x barracuda but without the glossy plastic part, a better performing mic in the beamforming mics)

Is there anything i can do against the too tight seal on the Barracuda Pros? It feels like it creates an vacuum and is completely air sealed and it really is not comfortable for me. Its not really hurting but its very unpleasing. Not even after some minutes, its immediately after i put them on

If you're talking about clamping force, usually the recommended action is to stick them on something slightly larger then your own head for a day or two to stretch em, if your talking about the vaccu, effect caused by anc, unfortunately there ain't really anything you can do about that
