Barracuda X it's like the HyperX Alpha they sound alike. Is just that some music and videogames sounds a little bit better on the Alpha.

In amazon its $69.99. seems like a good deal to me. but if you remove the boom arm it wont have any mic right? it doesnt have integrated mic so you cant use it outside while on call.

I want to ask about the audio quality of Razer Barracuda X and Barracuda, is it the difference in audio quality is like a night and day or is it just a small difference? Nice review of all of them, it swayed my choice of which to buy, I was going to buy the pro but after watching your review I bought the Razer Barracuda. I hope they will be as good as the Razer Barracuda X (no Bluetooth edition) i just broke. thanks for the great review. I did use your link for it too. I don't know if you reply to things, but I saw reviews saying the Barracuda X is low on the volume compared to other headsets and I am wondering if it's true. Because I like things loud and I'm currently using a Kraken Pro, I'd be sad if I bought it and realize it's way lower. And I believe it can be used while plugged in too? Not sure about this. Enjoyed the review though.

@@pacehessell9666 it really has problems with that for only mic is buzzing and giving robotic voice on any app beside razer synapse and no solution on anywhere sadly only fix is type c adapter directly to type c port on ur pc so dont recommend if no port

I'm about to get a Barracuda because I want them for use with my phone for music/calls/watching videos while cleaning my house or chilling on my porch smoking a cigar w/ a glass of scotch. They are currently on amazon for me "used - like new ; damage to packaging all contents are still new" for $73.05 but $78.35 after tax. Thanks for helping me make my decision, I'm not a big fan of leather cushions on my ears; they get too sweaty. I will stick to my Sennheiser HD560S for gaming/streaming can't beat the quality and light comfort I hear things and people accuse me of wall hacking because of it lol...

@@kyrios1120 I got the Barracuda not the x or pro .....I keep my dongle attached to my TV's Nvidia Shield so I can watch anime and not disturb my wife while she sleeps...then with a quick double tap of a button on the ear I switch to Bluetooth to use with my phone....I've had no issues at all with anything dropping connection...I would advise anyone having that issue to download the razer audio app on their phone and update the headset or connect it to a PC with Razer Synapse installed and update it from that...

@@kyrios1120 I have now just to test them for you...I usually run Sennheiser HD560S and a Razer Seiren V2 Pro on a boom arm...I tested it with nothing special software wise and it sounded like any other microphone from a gaming headset but had a better ability to reduce background noise, it was still there occasionally like my wife talking or banging dishes in the kitchen but noticeably reduced...I went a step further, I use Nvidia Broadcast its totally free you just have to have a 20 series Nvidia GPU or better in order to use it....with the noise removal and room echo removal turned all the way up they worked just as good as my normal setup....complete removal of background noise and crisp clean audio without any push to talk needed....I personally will stick with my Sennheiser HD560S's just because I like open back headphones when on the computer so I know what's going on around me vs closed back noise canceling...the positional audio worked great too i could hear foot steps and could tell what direction they were in Fortnite very easily...The bass is great if you've had any other razer headphones or headsets it is on par, honestly didn't notice a difference from my Sennheiser HD560S as far as bass goes
