I LOVE my 2020 Road King Standard. 107 delivers more than enough power for this old man.

at over 24k, and 107 cubicinches, it shouod have way over 100 hp. not freakin 75 or 80

The blinkers are self cancelling, the gear indicator indicates once the clutch is engaged. I would take the RK over the RKS even if it was the more expensive one. The Road King is my favorite Harley touring bike. Great review.

I have this in a 2021, crimson and pearl. GREAT ride for 2-up. Wife and I routinely do 300-400 mile days and feel nothing but relaxation after. I have had a Heritage, Fat Bob and Fat Boy… all are great for what they are- but this one is my favorite. SO sad this went away for 2023.

I Absolutely Love my 22 Road King Standard!. Way better than my 96s and 103 Street Glides and Ultra!. It's even faster over other stock touring Harleys by not carrying all that big fairing, radio/stereo, big gauges, then lowers and rear box dead weight. And yes it has 1" taller rear shocks, way smoother suspension and ride!. And he bars are perfect for me.. And yes it shows you what gear you're in when ya let out the clutch. If ya need tunes that bad buy some good ear buds and cell ph/ or mp3 player combined with a fm radio That I use. It also cuts down on the wind and engine noise, so when done riding my ears are not ringing!. I added the front fork wind deflectors and wow what a difference again, No more wind/air comming up from under the windsheild to blast ya right in the face!!. I also added the 3 pocket windsheild bags?. Rear docking brackets, passenger backrest and the newer wider luggage rack with the new big Harley touring luggage bag. I'm ready to go anywhere in the country!. The seat is just OK, Maybe needs a few more miles to break in, otherwise a new Mustang wide touring is going on her like all my others.I put on cruise pegs of course.. Oh, I did change out the driving lights to LEDs, Big Big diff at night!. And had my dealer program the driving lights to stay on with my high beam on at the same time!. You can still shut them off with the hand switch but why, Good for day or night to be seen!!.. So far I absolutly love this bike over my last full blown 5 Harley touring bikes!!.. I love that I can see the road way better in front of me. I don't need that fooking fairing!! I can pull the windshield off/on in 5 minutes Try that with a fricking fairing! It's a real original looking Harley!.

I luv my 97 road king. No heal shifter, no ABS, no cylinder cutoff, no cable less clutch.......just a pure Harley riding pleasure! Never give it up!

Hope they bring back the Road King with chrome. I wouldn't mind if they gave the Special a chrome or black choice. I want a Road King Special but I'm so sick of all blacked out and really craving chrome for my next bike. In fact it's a must for my next bike. I'm considering a Breakout for that reason but would totally prefer the comfort bags and ergonomics on the Road King. Please Harley give us a chrome option on Road King Special.

I hope that they bring back the Road King Standard, just as we see here. I have a 2012 Classic. Recently, I upgraded the suspension front and back. It’s rides better than new.

I have the same bike. '22 Road King Standard. No heel shifter? No problem for me. I grew up riding dirt bikes. they did not have a heel shifter. I love the bike. Plenty of Power for me. No issues so every.

11:05 the Electra Glide Standard was less expensive than the Road King, but that changed this year I think. It’s still a difference of less than $500.

How tall are you? Curious as to how the wind hit your helmet (or went over) and any turbulence you had behind the windshield.

Road king is comparable to the highball and the indian Springfield but bigger than the highball. I rode the Springfield darkhorse and felt right at home.
