If this had a pocket clip, I’d buy it right away. Micro multitools need pocket clips, IMO.

The Gerber is the weird on the flat slides down the Philips slides down and the knife blade blade slides down and the scissors fold out. Nothing comes out just down and very small.

You are right. I meant it pushed out of the tool on the Gerber but not completely out like this Roxon, which on this tool is a little different. What do you think about this feature on the Roxon?

@@hvacbudget8600 I like the Roxon I am thinking the M2 I am just curious about what type of steel they use. You reviewed a multi tool a while back that when tried using the screwdriver in started eating the Philips blade. I don’t remember what one it was. But I do like the Nextool and other Chinese multi tools that you have given a good review on. It’s good to see different multi tools and brands and bashing one brand or another. You give a good review and let it be known if it is worth getting are not. There is plenty of people on KZbin that just love Leatherman and everything else is junk. I can take you at your word if it’s worth my money or not.

@@lawrencehubbard2985 The Roxon Phantom seemed to have really soft steel. I think these tools are the same grade but as small pocket tools I don't expect as much as a Leatherman Wave size tool. I have been carrying the M2 since I reviewed it because it's just so handy and the scissors are amazing!

Hello guys i am living in israel and we have pretty strict laws and especially because i am arab i am afraid that if i got caught with any knife of any type ill be in big trouble but i am interested in pocket knives and multi tools and always find myself needing them but i dont have them so my question is can i remove the blade from this knife ? If yes what can i put in their place I would appreciate help of any kind , by the way great review 😊

That is an interesting problem. Would you say the laws are stricter than Europe? The short answer is no this blade cannot be easily removed unless you put in some work modding the tool. This tool is made of cheaper metal so even as you try to take it apart the pivot screws might strip out. You may want instead to buy a Leatherman Style PS or another similar tool without a knife blade. The Leatherman Leap is a discontinued tool that had a removable blade. Nextool sells a special version of it's larger tool the Flagship Pro that has a removable utility blade that can work. There is a tiny tool the Swiss tech foldable pliers that comes in one version without a blade. Hope that helps.

@@hvacbudget8600 thanks that helps a lot now as to the laws i dont know much about their laws but i do know that the israeli law has the max length and no locking mechanism but in addition i read i great reddit thread by a jewish lawyer who actually sat down with a police captain just to ask some questions and we have typical laws regarding where you can't bring the knife in like schools government buildings shopping mall etc and in addition u need to have "cause" to carry the tool or the knife and you need to have to use it in your job and i quote "if you were stopped while driving with the knife or multi tool in your pocket or the glove box thats an instant ticket even if you have probable cause to carrying it and the only place it should be is in the tool box but at that point why would i have a multi tool in a tool box instead of actual tools and i heard many stories from even jewish friends where the cop was maybe having a ruff day and even though their carry was completely legitimate they got in a great deal of trouble. I know this is long so thank you for reading lol but the main thing i am looking for is a good pair of scissors and actually i loved these because they had that and they have the tweezers and the toothpick which to me are a great addition

Just a small correction all of that said above was in regards to carrying a pocket knife I didn't find any specific info regarding multi tools but i think the same rule applies to anything with a folding knife

@@shadi3993 That's very interesting. Thanks for sharing. Unfortunately you may need to look at discontinued multi tools for better options. Or you can try to mod this tool. It might turn out pretty good.

That looks like a great tool. I think it's essentially a rebranded Ozark trail multi force or Bibury 19 in 1. These family of tools are some of the best tools for the value out there. I may have to buy that tool!

The KS2 works out of one handle, tools coming out on opposite sides. The scissors are a separate tool on the KS2 attached to the handle. The M3 is two handles with the main tool being the scissors. Both handle attached to the scissors store separate tools. The two tools are close but a little different as well.

You may have seen the Fiskars compact and the RayMay pen style scissors. Both have fairly good reviews. The Roxon Knife and scissors or the Leatherman CS Style are probably the most minimum scissor based multi tool. I did see a keychain scissor on Amazon that was very small. Can't find it now of course, lol! Hope that helps.

Yeah looks well made and great idea except that there’s nothing that can be used for prying with which seems a major omission. I use the flat head screwdriver on a SAK for prying probably second only to the knife blade. So any basic SAK is going to be more useful to me than this. Shame though because I like everything else about it

I would go with M3 if you want more keychain smaller carry. The KS2 feels a bit more premium knife, the M3 feels more pocket/keychain multitool.

Love the fingernail file for split nails. I do makeshift fingernail hygiene with a file. I don't carry a fingernail clipper, its stowed away until I cut mine.

It actually comes with some with the tool. It uses 4mm bits. I do have several extra sets I've picked up recently.

Hi there! Thank you once again for your detailed Multitool Reviews! I really love this little Roxon M3! It is exactly what I was looking for as far as compact size, less weight, the included Bits and of course the great Price! I have the Roxon Phantom which I dearly adore but do not need to carry around all of the weight! I bought the Gerber Slim Cut and Slim Drive. The Gerber Slim Cut has been retired to a toolbox. 😂😂 My EDCs now are this new Roxon M3 and the Gerber Slim Drive. Thanks again Sir for your honest evaluations!!
