How has your experience been with RE in general? Just purchased a 2023 RE 350 classic and I am very impressed with the fit and finish. I haven't found any item on the bike that appears to be cheaply made. Anything to look for in the future as far as a failure point?
@ridewithwarro Жыл бұрын
the new classic 350 reborns are the best of the bunch and far ahead of the old 500 which i had 15 new. the only issue you are liable to have and it happened to both mine -sticky speedo but i bought them 12 months back. that fault may have been rectified by now. apart from that the 350 reborn is a very good bike to own

Hi Warro, was is the engine's "Sweet Spot" in top gear on open roads, I will assume around 80klms to say 95klms per/hour?, I'm not overly interested in the top speed of the bike, but just the best cruising speed
@ridewithwarro2 жыл бұрын
it will run along pretty laid back at 90 kph but does 100 kph pretty easy too with near no vibration. its a winner for me
@richardharmon56822 жыл бұрын
It is amazing that after all these years buying so many bikes you have finally settled on a model that you plan to keep for a while. Is that military model one of the old 500's or has RE decided to make an olive drab version of the new Classic 350? I have to admit that it is hard for me to tell a new Classic 350 from an old Classic 350/500 without a close inspection of the bike's engine.
@ridewithwarro2 жыл бұрын
this is the new 350. after my dismal record with the 500 episodes i can honestly say-i will never buy one of those uce vibrators again...lol the new motor is just so far ahead i still wonder if i am actually riding an enfield.
@richardharmon56822 жыл бұрын
@@ridewithwarro Well, that new military model sure looks "classic". That is a nice find. I hadn't heard that RE was marketing that model along with the standard Classic yet.
@ridewithwarro2 жыл бұрын
@@richardharmon5682 mind you if by chance they did bring back the old 500 with this new motor it would be very hard to beat providing it rode and ran like this new model. they have certainly upped their game and about time too. although saying that the game changed for them and positive at that when i first bought the interceptor back in 019 i couldn't believe how good that bike was after riding the 500's the only issue for me-it was a great bike but didn't have the feel or character of the 500...nor the vibes...lol when your on one of these and things are going right-they are very hard to beat in ride factor alone and still my all time favourite bike
@MrLeslloyd2 жыл бұрын
@@ridewithwarro RE must have done something wrong with the C5's cranks, i fitted a 612cc kit on an ironbarrel and it was noticeably smoother than when it was a 500. Did over 60k kms on that bike all over Oz,before refitting the original motor and retiring it.
@ridewithwarro2 жыл бұрын
@@MrLeslloyd i always thought the cranks on the 500 UCE's were either badly made and balanced or slapped into place with no care whatsoever and the end result being...that'll do! so were put in pretty good and smooth to ride and some of them were real terrors...lol

Good; Honestly asking, how many liters of gasoline do you use at 100km? This question has to do with the value in EUROS (€) that we in Europe and mainly in Portugal are paying for the LITER of Gasoline, at the moment the value of Gasoline in Portugal is €2.10 per litre. Will have to reverse the purchase of R.R. when they arrive in Portugal, either the war in Ukraine ends or this is an escalation that doesn't stop, not only in petroleum products but also in food and electrical products. I have a month to think about what I'm going to do. In April the R.R. arrive. Good curves. Hug

Congrats on the new "Signals" model. Enfield UK, in their infinite wisdom, are not importing this model nor the Classics with the cast wheels. hard call and take into account ive had 2 interceptor - the chrome and the ravishing red. the 650's do everything far better than this or the 500. just a much more refined bike BUT and there's always a BUT...lol the 650 runs and rides up to honda standard and ive had 4 x cb500x's from 018 to 022 these 500's and 350's might not run as well but they have more character and a trip back in time type of feel. when you go for a run and pull over for what-ever case you know when your on the right bike when you look back and smile! in all honesty out of 52 new bikes i've bought lately very few were worth a look back. not only will you look back at these-you'll want to get on and ride further. a year ago i think i had 5 brand new bikes in the yard under 3 months old. hard to believe but i'd go out and look at them and didn't want to ride any of the crap. ive waited a long time for enfield to produce this 350-its not perfect but by enfield standards -its pretty close!

Warri were you operating your drone and riding at the same time? I’m sure my mate says there’s an old law that dates back to 1860 that says “it is an offence to ride your motorbike whilst operating a remote control drone” but my mum says he’s pulling my leg? 🤔

Mate, are you still around? Just wondering how it goes on the freeway doing 100kph? 🙂 Some videos say it rings out doing 110, that they are hurtin' it on 5th at that speed. I ride a 4 stroke 50cc scooter these days, I'm all about the backroads and the journey. I used to have a Laro Prostreet 350 bobber and that felt a bit gutless on the freeway, I assume most 350's are the same in that regard? Also, is the Royal Enfield Classic 350 4 stroke or 2 stroke? If you can get back to me I'd appreciate it a bunch.. 👍
@ridewithwarro3 күн бұрын
it will run ok at 100 kph and is 4 stroke and puts out 20 hp. if your happy with that speed it will do it for long periods at a time. hills sometimes slow it a bit but overall its a very likeable bike and well worth buying i have the red/chrome now and plan to buy the new 2024 model too. so i think they are good. go into my history and you'll see 100 plus ride clips on these bikes under all conditions

In India where it's made, most owner ride these bikes day in and day out, new ones are definitely having better QC and lower complaints, I have 2001 Machismo 350 and 2007 Electra 5S, ridden close to 300k kms on both combined and still have all my hairs, most owners are happy with RE's, you also have to consider that RE sells 30000 of these bikes on average per month, the complaint ratio is quite low after factoring in the sales.
