Don't you just love riding a sidecar outfit? They are not fast but they are so much fun and women got love them. I have so many women tell me that my Ural sidecar outfit is so cute. Psy cars are so much safer simply because people in cars see them more than a regular motorcycle. And when you get a used bike it's like buying a sidecar and getting the motorcycle that tows it for free.

Thanks for that great and thorough review of the new Classic 350. It does seem as if RE finally made a very modern classic with a lot of quality control improvements, compared to their old B5 and C5 models. It is nice that the fenders are made of steel, even if the side covers are not. I bet that thick exhaust header pipe is double-walled in order to keep it from blueing.
@ridewithwarro2 жыл бұрын
i think they have well and truly improved them over the 500's even if they dropped it to 350cc. on flat ground its a pretty quick runner and far ahead of the old carby 350 vibes are pretty low too and twice i have ridden it on 100 klm runs with no gloves just to evalute the vibe in bars and riding with runners. either way pretty good and nothing like the rides i'd been on in the past. so far the experience has been good and i've been riding it twice per day. dont think that has happened in a truck load of bikes or for quite some time...lol

I just bought the matt black one yesterday, and I'm thrilled. I weigh about 100kg and on my way home, on this bike, I noticed that it can easilly cruise at 100kmh, and if I lean forward splitting air with my helmet, it can go well at 120kmh. But if you get head wind, or uphill, you will notice the speed dropping down to about 110kmh. I don't know wether it makes any difference what oil you use in the engine, or if you could get some more speed out of it by modifying exhaust/ air intake, but it has a good enough speed my tours.

I have after riding 750/1000cc+ sports/adventure bikes for over 32 yrs in the UK (was a devout Suzuki only guy with Suzuki trademark tattoo), I gave them up and bought a new RE 2021 Himalayan in June 21 which is slow compared to the bikes i have previously owned , but has real world acceleration for the chill out guys, you have to plan the overtake with only a 80mph top speed but i LOVE it!!.. RE is not about speed or acceleration, it's about riding a bike with a true soul..they get under your skin, into the riders heart and very quickly become part of the family that you wont sell or ever part with..due to how much i love riding my RE himmy, I bought and am picking up a new interceptor on the 1st March 2022 to add to my stable..after the interceptor, i need to work alot of hours and maybe get me a new 350 classic which is a beautiful motorcycle, but RE should have stayed with/kept the kick start on all their bikes..that would have given them a lot more sales due to them going really old school on their bikes and that peeps want to see on them.. new sub, loved the vid brill review mate 😁 CEAT tyres are brill on the wet or dry roads, on my Himalayan in all weather's in the UK, i found them to have a lot of grip and will never put you sliding down the road 👍 I am staying with CEAT as better than a lot of main brand tyres I have used in the past..only other tyre after 32 yrs on all bikes, knee down etc that i truly trust..would be the Maxxis brand they are excellent for grip and longevity..hope they have the sizes for the RE bikes, if not, CEAT all the way for me😊 loving the look of the new 350 classic..beautiful bike to own BUT if i cant find a very very low mileage 500 classic under 500 miles..then will deffo buy a new 350 classic as they look a lot better than the meteor for old school looks 👍😊

Beautiful bike! I may consider one of these in the future even with me being 6'4'' and all 3 of my nearest dealers being 250 miles away (good planning there Royal Enfield). The only things I don't like is the lack of the Amp meter, the digital panel and the key being moved from the side box. The only thing I absolutely hate is the terrible looking tail light. Why on earth did they use a prolapsed rectum rather than the Lucas lookalike of the Bullets (like the Bullet I bought new in '93?).
@ridewithwarro2 жыл бұрын
gotta agree. i bought a amp meter from idia to pull out that disc and see if it fits the slot ok. if so it will give it a more period style look. not connect of coarse..lol

mine has done it a couple of times and mainly after a longer ride. last time it stuck on 25 kph so heres what i did. just turn the key on and dont start -let the needle spin and do its lap and turn it off. repeat again and each time it recycles it will drop x amont of klm. dont start the bike till it starts from zero and does the comlete arc and set back on zero. that gets me out of trouble as i am too far from a dealer to have them take a look. apart from that all good and great ride

putting 95 ron at the moment. it appears to run well on that. these run very well compared to the 2 x 350's i had in carby form but under windy conditions or graded hills a 500 would knock one over pretty easy. on flat type roads under ideal riding conditions they will sit and hold on 90 kph very easy and i'd say cruise well at 100 kph in a pretty relaxed manner too
@londo02 жыл бұрын
Do you notice loss of power when compared to 500?
@ridewithwarro2 жыл бұрын
on graded hills or in a head wind situation the 500 would come out on top. i dont know for sure as ive been easy on it. on cruising flat type running its far quicker than one would expect. it will easily sit on 50/55 mph very easy and little throttle effort. say maybe a 1/4 turn would i swap it for a 500 -definately not! it has too many positives. ive been on heaps of those and its now 2022 and i will make a bold statement and say its the best starting bike in fuel injection ive been on to date. got 20 clips to do on this bike in the ride/cook series coming so i will get plenty of seat time to evalute and give the positives and negs should they arrive

Can't really agree with you there, sorry. Obviously, it depends on one's riding style and expectations in a motorcycle... So, yeah, if you ride on the interstate, then no, the 350 won't make you a happy camper. But, I absolutely abhor riding any motorcycle on the interstate, and do almost all of my riding on country backroads with a max speed limit of 55. I have a Himalayan, and while it sucks on the interstate, it's great on the roads I ride. Took a test ride on the Meteor last fall just to get a feel for the engine, in anticipation of maybe getting a C350 this year. Was pleasantly surprised by its performance. Is it fast? Hell, no! But, as a gentleman's ride, it's great, IMO. Had it up to 70mph briefly on the test ride and it felt fine. Likely wouldn't do much more, but that told me for the 50-60mph that I need, it'll do nicely. So again, it just depends on your needs...
@krishm162 жыл бұрын
@@michaelc3416 I feel in Canada, there are many places that are inaccessible without having to take a highway. Using backroads is ultimately my aim too, by adds hours to the overall ride. So I feel a 500 has more power to keep up in this instance than a 350.
