2022 Running Challenges
Well, 2022 was quite a packed year! Despite the injuries, I achieved many goals which I’m incredibly proud of, with 5 marathons, 3 ultras and a whole lot more 🏃🏻‍♂️
2 marathon PB’s (‪@TheBostonMarathon‬ , ‪@berlin-marathon‬)
Half marathon PB (Reading)
10k PB (Richmond)
5k / parkrun PB (Dulwich)
100mile PB & sub24hr finish (‪@centurionrunning‬ Thames Path 100)
First ever mountain ultra finish (‪@ultra-trailsnowdoniabyutmb3235‬ 50)
2 ‪@guinnessworldrecords‬ (fastest half marathon and marathon dressed as scientist (#GreatNorthRun, #LondonMarathon)
- ‪@abbottworldmarathonmajors3942‬ Six Star Finisher.
However far more importantly, challenges such as these continue to enable my fundraising and, hopefully to inspire others. Last year I raised a further £4,700 for ‪@CancerResearchUK‬ (CRUK), a cause so important to me. That is why I do it. Thank you for your support and encouragement - it means the world ❤️
