I have a pureblood as well. She comes from an amazing bloodline dating back to the great arabian racehorse Baske as well as her grandsire bay abi! She was a show champion at 1 and 3. I would LOVE to bring that original beauty back out in her and video the process pf resurfacing the champion in her. This man could really show me how it is done!

U are right , All these oil sprays are maybe for girls but not natural and are for confusing judges . There is also not so honest and kind way of prepering horses stand still during presentaion. Removing hair from the head around eyes dosn`t make them aby better or pretty and actually dosn`t present how big her eyes really are, But business is businesss.

I miss the Quarter Horse halter shows. Where the animals were athletic and muscled.

Groomed for that show back in the late '80's. There are days I miss it. Grooms ate hard working folks.

Halter arabians have a much healthier conformation than halter QHs. They look like they can still make sound riding horses, which is a good thing.
