Great review. I was actually recommended your review by one of your subscribers. Yesterday, I saw one parked outside Asda in Kilmarnock. I approached the guy who looked about 18 as I was carrying my shopping and asked him about it. I don't usually approach kids in car parks 😄 . He said he'd bought it second hand the day before after seeing your video a few weeks ago. It cost him £1100 after the previous owner had passed her CBT, bought the bike and then after a few rides had a change of heart . Motorcycling wasn't for her. So he got a pretty good deal. She even threw in gloves and a helmet

Good value so long as spares and back-up are available. You forgot to mention whether tassles for the hand grips are available. I started riding in 1985 by buying a brand new MZ125, kept it until I passed my tests then sold it the following weekend. I lost less than 1/3rd of the new price and it needed no repairs during the 7 months I had it. Definitely better than buying a "banger".

I am looking to get myself a motorcycle for a long time now. I've been going on KZbin and other parts of the internet to find the right one for me. I love the cruisers and always wanted one. Now I am torn apart between three bikes: Keeway superlight Sinnis Hoodlum (thanks to your video) Hyosung Aquila (also thanks to your video!) I am leaning more towards the Hyosung because it has that Harley Davidson, typical bobber style. But it's damn difficult to decide which one I will be stuck for 2+ years with

They are all good. Have you a dealer near you though. Pick the bike where back up and servicing is most easiest. The Aqullia rides the best out of those but I do like them all. Hope that helps, the outlaw is a good one too. Review coming up 👍

I loved my Hoodlum, only vehicle I have ever bought new out of the showroom, I enjoyed riding it and it confirmed my love for biking. However....the service intervals to preserve the supposedly great warranty are a comically short 1200 miles, and even though my bike was wrapped in cotton wool it started to show signs of rust in the exhaust hangers and swingarm within 10 months from new, Sinnis could not have cared less and I sold the bike before it deteriorated any more.
@exeterrider2 жыл бұрын

@@exeterrider yep every 2000km to 12000km and then every 2500km, and it hasn't changed because I just went and checked. Comically the Lexmoto Michigan, that is basically the same bike, has longer service intervals.

That actually looks quite nice but I still have a soft spot for that Sinnis Terrain 125 with the petite luggage that you had for a while. I still think that would be such a practical little bike for running errands. Quite agree, no need for a 125 to be that loud. On a 125 to have an exhaust that loud, that’s embarrassing. It’s like all mouth and no trousers 👖 Great review as always and gives us viewers a good idea of what to expect from this bike 👏 Thanks ER, enjoyed hearing your opinion on this one. I have had the 2021 hoodlum for a year and i recommend it with the toro exhaust. It is loud but with the unusually long stroke of the zs125-79 engine it gives a beautiful tone for a 125. Very economical and very comfortable on a long trip (by long i mean 100+miles)

It's the Michigan's twin. Only difference I can see is wheels and exhaust. You should try the Michigan. Standard exhaust on it and alloy wheels not spokes. Hoodlum to me is a rip off. You pay more just for the wheels and exhaust. That's why I got the lexmoto Michigan. Great review.

I had quotes for a new Honda CB125F last week from mine and 2 other insurers , quotes came in ranging from £50-80 a year more to insure the 125 than it does to insure my Ducati Monster. And 2 years ago same thing. Was paying extra £65 a year to insure a Yamaha MT125 when I changed from my 2013 Triumph Street Triple R. I love smaller bikes but makes no sense when they cost more to insure than bigger and better brand motorbikes. I can only assume there’s more thefts and accidents on 125’s increasing their insurance premiums.
