I just did that race yesterday. My daughter says that alien guy was in the heat right ahead of me lol! The cold water dunk was a bit brutal in that weather! Congrats on completing a Spartan!

Id recommend working out a few days a week leading up to it. Not so much running intensive since you go at your own pace but it definitely helps!
