Thanks for making this video! I was on the fence about getting this exact rod because I love my AvidX 6'6MLF so dang much, but hearing what you had to say and seeing it in action convinced me it was worth getting. If only manufacturers would make content like this to help market their equipment. I know you said they don't pay you for it, but they should. You just made St. Croix another sale!

Are we able to bring our own equipment/tackle on guide trips?

Of course

@@jraymond115 I know it probably seemed like an odd question, but most of the time when I here guides talking they talk about customers liking the equipment they try on the trip. I wasn't sure if there was enough room for everything. Hopefully someday I'll be able to afford a trip.... I fish the river fairly regularly with my father from his boat, but he has a prop so we're somewhat limited to where we can go.

Joe! Hope all is well. You took the wife and I on a guided trip on the Juniata river in PA and we had an epic day. You moving to the St Lawrence, puts you closer to us and we have wanted to fish the St Lawrence, so we will be reaching out to book a trip in the near future. Quick question on the LTB. I too like the colors of this series. How do you feel the revised version of this blank performs from a sensitivity / feel / feedback standpoint for bottom contact applications like neds, nekos, drop shots etc?

Hey Nick! The new LTB's are awesome all around. I'm picky and I have no complaints other then they need more models

Really wish they had a 7' or 7'1" medium fast action

The 7’2” mhmf rod is pretty sweet. I’ve been running 15 or 20lb braid with a leader and doing just about everything I want with it on the river

@Joe Raymond ya it sounds nice but technically I like the feel of a straight Medium 7' fast action or extra fast I'm not onto trying to horsepower them in I just like to feel and play with them big boys...

@@jraymond115go look at the legend tournament walleye rods they have a 7 foot medium fast action. Still the same quality just a different action I prefer the walleye spinning rods over the bass ones for that reason.

I can afford it but $300 is a lot of money for a rod .New Daiwa Procyon MQ LT should look beautiful on it 👍🏾
