Never drove any of these slow cars but I always wanted a AE86 growing up. When I thought of getting a Miata to modify and toy around with, I started to look at what other cars I can get new. Long behold I stumbled on the 2022 BRZ and loved the new look, so I started to look at when the Toyota 86 is going to release as that is the closet to an AE86 as i'm going to get. My plan is to get the 86 and eventually turbo it once my funds let me. Lol! Right now, i'm not buying a new car as i'm waiting for April 5th press release they have scheduled

The front looks porsche/corvette, the side obviously a lexus, the rear kind of accord/nsx. I miss the round lights on the rear. The fender lines are more rounded than I would like. I just hope this motor is boost friendly from factory. I know it is not a drag car, but hate that minivans are faster. Hopefully a tune with exhaust will put it at 200 ftlbs, and maybe 250 horsepower.

I have a 2017 series yellow BRZ which I love as my daily driver. I am a little obsessed with keeping super clean, the paint issue the red Brembo paint as it kinda peeling. I actually support the machining manufacturing TRW. I know the the paint is put on like a powder coating with heating treating. I have 30k on it but it looks very close to new. What do with the cosmetics of brakes??
