I got this on January 2022, manual version. It's almost 3 years now, 29.000 kilometers. Great car, I love it. Only negative thing is that the windows buttons electronics had to be repaired. Other than that, I have only enjoyed it. Very efficient gasoline consumption and it actually has good inner spaces and trunk. No complains so far. Here in Costa Rica I have taken it to volcanos, beaches, and almost all the country. Very thankful for it.

Im glad you guys got to review this car. Its a good little vehicle from Suzuki that mixes practicality, frugality and a little sportiness. Spoke with a owner of one last week and she said she loves how it can dart in and out of traffic.

Very satisfying presentation of Suzuki Dzire. You got me ill buy one in blue color AGS 2023

I learned to drive on an older Suzuki Swift. As with most Suzukis, handling is great. As for the Dzire, I kinda agree with you. It's not the prettiest sub-compact out there. But Suzukis always give you great space in relation to their car sizes. It's incredible, really, thinking about it. The drive? Most of their cars feel solid to drive. Smooth. NVH is superb, especially as you go up the pricing range of what they offer. You've seen this on the Ertiga as well. And lasty, FUEL ECONOMY is Suzuki's trump card! Haha. 10 km/liter for 2 hours of heavy traffic? Good lord. What a buy for the penny pinchers out there. Thanks for the review, brother!
@RealRoyRobles2 жыл бұрын
Thank YOU for watching! NVH isn't really something Suzukis are known for but for the price, it's certainly not that bad! I really can't get my mind off the S-Presso and the Celerio and was pleasantly surprised with the DZire :-)

I have 4 GrabCar Dzire, this review is spot on. My personal favorite feature is its fuel efficiency, believe me it is more fuel efficient than the G4 ( I also had 4 of, replaced by the Dzire). Congratulations Roy!

This and the Celerio reminds me of underbone motorcycles(Honda Wave/Suzuki Smash/Yamaha Vega). They are one of the cheapest in the market. Shifting is easy as it doesn't have a clutch, less hassle in the traffic and a lot more fuel efficient than their automatic counterparts. Power, comfort and storage wasn't really the main priority as well but there are owners whe modifies them
@RealRoyRobles2 жыл бұрын
That's what I love about Suzuki cars, it's pretty much a step up from motorcycles and they can provide no-frills motoring at the entry level. It's also well know here how much I love small cars, especially the S-Presso!

Thanks for the awesome review Roy as usual. Now bout the dzire, it's still pretty good especially its fuel economy and driving dynamics. Pretty close to that of its hatchback twin the swift, and with that pretty close as well to the mini cooper. What the dzire truly needs is an update. Like led projector headlamps and fog lamps, passive entry with push start, leather seats, reverse cam with distance readout and a lil bit more on the safety kit. Oh and an auto start stop system, not a fan of those but just to keep up with the times. Now all those things to get the hefty price jump from 718k last i checked would be justifiable. Otherwise it's still facing steep competition with its price segment with the likes of the emgrand, mg5, mirage g4, even the raize and among other cars within the price range.

Thanks!! I've never really enjoyed start/stop features in cars and disable it when I can. It's exciting to see what a next-gen DZire would look like but for now, it seems to be holding up well :-)

If they can put an AGS in Dzire why not put it in Swift instead of a CVT? I just drove a Dzire AGS, and it was so much fun compare to usual hatch, sedan like Vios, Mirage, Brio..

Fair review. However with 2 adults and 2 teen aged kids and some soft luggage (for a 2 nights stay) the engine feels under-powered especially with the AC on. It is even more prominent when climbing even gentle slopes.

I agree, I believe the DZire would be perfect as a city runabout but our of town, it might be "extra fun"! 😆

Hows the AGS? When its in automatic mode does it function really as a traditional automatic transmission or a cvt?
@michellemendoza7018 Жыл бұрын
Does 2022 suzuki dzire has hill assist? Can I also use just Drive mode when I’m on uphill or steep road? I am not into manual and never thought of this AGS before I bought my dzire. I thought all the while it is just an AT. Please guide me. Thanks

What's the difference of AGS to toyota automatic but with manual mode shift? The + - shift.
@ZigWheelsPhilippines Жыл бұрын
AGS is still a manual transmission with a clutch-except that it is operated by the car! This lowers cost and should be cheaper to maintain versus a regular automatic box

@ZigWheelsPhilippines Жыл бұрын
Depending on the steepness of the hill, it might be best to put it into manual mode, keep it on the lowest gear and take the climb slow and steady!

From what I can remember, the Mirage G4 and DZire register similar fuel economy figures despite the different transmissions. I think we'll have to revisit the Mirage G4.
