One thing I would recommend is the factory sound deadening. They are pretty tinny with out it, especially on the dirt road, from experience with both, I wouldn't get one without it.

You a bloody leg and mate, I totally agree with what you’ve just said. I saw a you tube video of a guy complaining that the new ones (2022) don’t have steering wheel buttons or 10 inch screen in the middle of it and that made it angry to watch

Mate awesome review. Any chance of doing a review on your thoughts of going from a non dpf to a dpf cruiser ? Seeing as you have had a few cruisers I'm guessing you have also owner a pre dpf one also

Gday mate The DPF in my V8s has been perfect. Not a single problem with them. No more black smoke and i never change the exhaust pipe. The DPF system like the rear wheel track size doesnt bother me. Toyota monitors when they service my car the DPF. The new model tells me when i am doing a burn off. If i want a noisy exhaust and heaps of power I ride my Harley. Sure I loved my first Landcruiser, a 1984 model bought new. But there was much less traffic then and I could slug it around town back then

@@HighCountryHughesie yeah I agree mate, not buying it to change everything on it. The only concern I had was the reliability with the dpf compared to non dpf models and apparently when they do a burn they chew a stupid amount of diesel. Is that something you have noticed ?
