It is on a DNGA(Daihatsu New Global Architecture) platform. In the vid, I seen the car make a U turn which would be normal in Philippines’ street~ but considered as an illegal n dangerous one here in Singapore; just bemused in differences of driving culture(no ill intentions). Quite nice for a Toyota at this price! How is the noise (wind/road/ambient noises) and ride comfort compared to other Toyotas in this price (Vios, Rush, etc)?

Softness wise, it’s about the same as a Vios. Road noise can be heard, but not too bad. Overall basically a Vios in terms of NVH

@@KyleLiongCars first i used to it, all my previous cars and existing car had/has engine under cover, second it might be prone to rats or cats to stay on the engine bay, third stones may get into it when passing through rocky roads, thats my concern.

I see. Stones are a valid point, but they shouldn’t physically impact anything that can cause concerns. Rats can still crawl up easily through various other points even with a cover. Just imparting my take on this too :)

Mahirap talaga pag galing ka sa magandang klase na driving dynamics na sasakyan with budget meal din na presyo pero premium feelings...pag drive mo ng toyota rush,veloz, avanza, raize & wigo mapapa iling ka na lng ng ulo mo..hahaha sobrang layo...thats why hindi ko pinapansin sa mga mall yan mga display nila kasi wla ka nmn makikita na bago sa unit nila or ma amaze ka...😂😂😂 Ng dahil sa mga china car if you own one talagang tataas na standard mo...andun kasi ung premium feels kahit hindi ka presyo ng euro car pero ung driving dynamics same vibes...
