2022 TRANS AM NATIONALS, Fairborn, OH & TIPP CITY CRUISE-IN / Firebird & Trans Am Mega-size Car Show

The 2022 Trans Am Nationals took place August 26th-28th at the Holiday Inn in Fairborn, OH. 516 cars were registered for the event! Charlene and I had a blast once again! Please enjoy seeing all the Firebirds that were there! I've tried my best to convey just how great this event is! Both Charlene & I were behind the camera this year!
Tipp City also did not disappoint with 360 Firebirds registered! We made our annual visit to Browse Awhile Books while there, and once again didn't leave empty-handed LOL.

I'm going to make the attempt to get the cousin side (Camaro) together in Denver soon! I still have my 4th Gen Camaro SS, as does my Brother. Mine is a 2000, his is a '98. Mine is all stock & original (W/30K Miles) minus the straight pipes & a few subtle, cosmetic changes. My Brothers' '98 SS, well, completely different story 😄... This is awesome I love Trans am ever since my moms bought a brand new white 1979 T/A with black interior and No t tops. I never seen another T/A with that color combo. I’ve owned an 87 Black and gold and a red 89 GTA. Why did Pontiac have to Go away.

@@phireburd2000 I actually parked on the same street as you. I have the 1999 pewter metallic TA and the black 2002 Formula. I live 5 miles north of Tipp City, so I bought both of my show cars. I don't always comment, but I do subscribe and I love Firebirds.

@@michaelm3381 wow! I had no idea! I apologize if I passed you by without realizing it. You must live in the Troy area.....I only know about Troy from staying at a motel there for the 2003 TA Nats. President Bush was visiting Dayton, and the Secret Service needed our motel room in Vandalia, so we got moved to Troy. They paid for one of our nights stay, so I guess I still paid for both nights as a taxpayer lol 😆

Thank you for the kind words! I bought it new, and just celebrated 23 years of ownership on the 8th of December. It sounds like you've found a nice low-mileage 'bird (mine has 145,000), and a Firehawk to boot! I don't recall ever seeing a Pewter Metallic Firehawk at the T/A Nats, so perhaps it's a rare color.
