Loved riding along with you. I really like your discussion about the lovely pipes on the T100 which are "a kind of brushed metal". A possible draw card for this over the T120.

I've done 106,000 Km on my 2017 T100. It's great. The T120 feels heavy by comparison but you'd get used to that. But I think 900cc is the optimum engine size for this format.

I had very similar reaction upon riding both Street Twin, and then the T100. The pegs are in the same place in both bikes.. so ergonomics for me were night and day. I’m simply less cramped on the T100. Throw in the bigger fuel tank, and gorgeous looks, and the T100 was the winner. Both amazing bikes.

I think this is the best gold line colour due to the silver and chrome pipes etc.. i live near some big roads in thailand and soon to be buying the t120. I do like the brown seat on the black version though.

I have a 2005 T 100. She doesn't have a name, but I still love her. You keep saying Betty hates corners, or curves. Is it because shes a little heavier, or is there a suspension difference that you notice? I am pretty much under the impression that the T100 is a bit bigger, chassis wise,,than the 120. I'd like to try out a 120 some day, but I'd never get one anyway. I always like hearing you Brits describe your bikes. The words you use always make me laugh a little. In a good way. Mine is the same color as that one, even as a 2005. But the lady I bought it from had put a Union Jack tank cap on it, so I don't know if it's all gray or 2 tone. Anyway it's more old school than that one. No fancy switches. No read out in the clocks. But all the bikes I've had have been pre 2000 except the T100. Thanks for the experience. Take care.✌️

Could this be Betty Mkii ... Prefer the look of the T100 over the Street Twin, the dual clocks especially, you can set a rev counter on the Street Twin in the LCD part, just not as pleasing on the eye, look forward to Part 2 Betty's Revenge...

Hi! Watched most of your vidéos, youre THE specialist of t100! I have a 2022 goldline, 5000 km now. I love this bike for a lot of reasons. Having left a big trailbike for it because of my age, i expérience again the pleasure of smooth riding. Just one point Im disappointed with the behaviour of the engine above 4k RPM. A lot of vibrations and i think i would have to struggle to reach red zone, with nothing positive to expect from it. Do you think mine should go for service or is this bike only designed for low RPM cruising? Thank you! Thierry from Corsica
@TAYM4 ай бұрын
@@thierrygoli4271 thanks T 😁 it doesn’t sound right to me🤔 I am on my second T100 and neither have the issue 🤔 if anything I would say they get smoother and much faster over 4K 🤔 at 4K mine are doing about 75mph and by 5k looking at 90mph 🤔 not been much over that though 😁 maybe a service would help 😁

Another great video on some lovely roads, I do love my little trips out to the Suffolk countryside on my bikes, really looking forward to part II. I've have also test ridden the 2022 T100 (I didn't get the posh Goldline version though!) for a comparison to Beatrix my 2020 (euro 4) T120, I felt that the fuelling was quite smooth but a little constrained (by the new euro 5 emission regs) and it was like riding Beatrix permanently in rain mode. To me (and this is wholly my personal opinion) it felt the same as mine handling wise (so maybe the issues you experience with Betty are actually with your particular bike?) The T100 just felt a bit slower with a slightly more muted sound, tbf I have fitted an x-pipe (de-cat) & DNA high flo air filter to mine. The ride was pretty much the same handling wise, just a bit slower with a little less torque out of the curves. Think I'll be keeping Beatrix for the foreseeable future. 👌

It also has indicators...just a shame you don't seem to use them much. Doing 50mph through that village with a 30mph speed limit is also not very clever.

Meh, gas is often just short for “gasoline”. Surely you use some jargon occasionally (?) At any rate, you are correct. But context is is everything.
