2022 UPDATE - Glass Schindler 330A HT Hydraulic Elevator - New Rochelle, NY

Little did I know how surprised I would be by starting the camera before entering the parking deck! Come join me for quite the update on two HTs that I hold dear to my heart, even though they aren’t doing so well, which, I contribute to obvious lack of Maintenace.
Note that the call buttons appear to be redundant on the pair… the left call button is inactivated while out of service, whereas when it is in service, they light up in tandem.
Don’t worry, we’ll be back soon to check on the Left one.

For a parking garage elevator, this one doesn’t seem that bad! Of course deferred maintenance will lead to some issues but this one doesn’t seem in too bad of a condition for an unmaintained 330A. One of the 330A’s at the college I attend has a similar bouncy issue but other than that it’s not so bad. Seems as though they ought to check up on that third floor down call station though. I can kinda see why they wouldn’t worry about it too much though, if nobody parks up there, why keep the call stations active? Oh well. Nice elevator anyway.

fixing that call station helps the elevator pass inspection. a little bouncing helps too.
