As a latecomer on your channel and the comment section, I'd like to say I definitely resonate with you on the life evolving. It seemed like 27-30 were the years that were the hardest to find the real me. I am thankful to have found you and your content, it's few and far between to find a travel vlogger that isn't obnoxious and out of touch with the world lol Hope you keep on keeping on, videos and all.

It's been pretty cool seeing your evolution and your journey over the years. It's refreshing to see a travel KZbinr that's hella self aware, you're actually interested in growth and things that are deeper than the glitz and glamour. On a side note, I have a feeling when you're much older you'll be happy you did document your journey.

Steve, you know I'm a huge Yalo fan, and I've followed your escapades, even the ones with your brother and your Dad, for more than a little while. I envied you when you started your travels, selling off almost everything you owned and buying that one-way plane ticket to Thailand. You were doing it at the best time of your life. But now, as you say, you're older, and getting older makes us look at different things in different ways. It's inescapable. Doing things with purpose takes effort and commitment, and I think what I see here is a guy who, through his travels, has lived a thousand lifetimes, exerting that effort and commitment all along the way. If you decided to pack it all up tomorrow, that'd be okay. You've created a body of work that, for me, is pretty damn impressive. You actually impacted how I documented my own travels. Now, I use photographs as opposed to video, but the eye of creativity you brought to how you went about your work was amazing. That a 25 year old kid could impart that to a middle-aged retired guy living in Florida is a testament to your audience reach. No one I ever showed your videos to ever commented "Yeah, but he's a kid so he can do that." Everyone I showed you videos to was as impressed as I. Do you what you feel you need to, when you feel you need to do it. Of course, I always love seeing new content from you. But you don't want content to be your life and, as you've told us, your personal situation has changed and went into a direction you may not have expected. As much as I would hate to see it, maybe it's time to (GASP!) settle down some. I'd love to see you end up on the Travel Channel or something similar. Your credibility, just like your experience, is strong. Or, maybe down the road, I get to see you with a home, a wife, the 2.3 kids and a mini-van in the garage. Either way, I think I speak for a lot of your followers when I say "Thanks" for what you've given us. I thoroughly enjoyed living vicariously through you, and I'm sure that's a big group that I'm a part of. And, frankly, to know you personally is a gift, and I'm proud to call you a friend. I'll end with this (and I'm paraphrasing): You said once you were on an adventure of a lifetime. Your dad corrected you, saying yours was a lifetime of adventure. I always like your dad; smart man...

Thanks for this, Steve. Your words mean a lot and I’m very appreciative of your positive support. As I shift to focus on new opportunities, I will always carry with me the eye-opening experiences of my travels to help keep my mind open and understand that growth never stops. I’m humbled by your words and to hear all of this is sincerely motivating. Creating videos for the channel may be slowed, but it’s not over. Plenty more content to come from me :)

Just caught this...Great environment and hoodie. Spontaneous content is powerful insights about YOU. " There's: Magic In The Telling" as I suggested months ago.. Clearly it shows in your vlogs..They have helped many.. So many creator/influencers miss the details, the essence and their own purpose...Your recent PVR vlog is proof positive of your commitment..Keep growing and have fun. That's what life is really about along with learning to love ( especially self) and being loved. 🤗

I enjoy your content and the energy that comes across in all of your videos. Please keep the channel even if you only post sporadically or about different topics :) You could share your investing journey with us!

Thank you for sharing Steve. It's funny how much I can relate to all the things you talked about here. Travelling full time is exhausting after a certain amount of time. While exciting, educational and many other things that come with it, it's not sustainable. Eventually one needs to take a step back, set a base, plan their future and invest in their relationships. I feel extremely fortunate to have met you during my personal journey and I'm glad to see you back sharing your current state with us. Loved this raw video version. Can't wait to see where your life journey brings you next. One thing's for sure: we'll be there supporting 🙌

Steve! Great to hear that your still out there thriving hahaha. Its funny because i feel like i went through a very similar thought process as you, i was obsessed with travel, and would go anywhere no matter the circumstances lol. Now things have changed a bit, like you, i still love travel, but backpacking on 5$ a day is a little less appealing then it used to be. Well, things change, and interests change, just wanted to share with you that i feel similarly as you do with your relationship with travel. Also, a bit of unsolicited advice: be careful with crypto, in my opinion, just hold the market with a broad etf (veqt). Crypto and stock picking is a dangerous game, passively holding the market beats active stock picking/crypto on average in the long term. Just my two cents, anyway, cheers bro!
