2022 Vintage Camper & Tiny On wheels Show @ Creekwood Farms Fall Fun Rally in North Carolina RV Park

We took 5 hours of fun and exploring vintage campers with remodels & rebuilds an made it 1 hour of fun and surprises for you to enjoy in this video. There were too many campers and RV's to count over 40 of them but we caught them all in their vintage glory. Sit back and watch the entire hour of hard work and pristine keeping while we show you some of the best vintage campers in America but you have to watch to the end to see my favorite one with a claw foot tub. There were vintage shasta and air streams of all ages a spartan mansion an old school franklyn the Argosy airstream, I mean to many to mention your just gonna have to watch. We made good friends although it was not our usual tiny house show with skoolie builds, glamping domes, tiny homes and vanlife this show is a must see for all the great memories it brings back. I agree 👍 he has been teaching me with our enclosed 30ft trailer its the swing I can't quit get but he is so patient, I know I'll be hauling our house real soon. Our rig is a 43ft toy hauler so it's a bit of a maneuver but I can't wit to feel like a big boss pulling that thing 😆😊.

Actually the one you had was a scuppernong. The purple ones are Muscadines. Growing up, my grandmother in Macon GA had a muscadine vine. She made the best muscadine jelly! My other grandmother in Dublin GA had an arbor filled with scuppernongs! The best of both worlds!

Wow ,you did a great job showing off these beautiful campers. On one of the tables was Hank Williams Jr record . I owned that record. I was born in 1955. I recognized so many things . I sold Samsonite luggage in the 70s and red was a very popular color . I can't say which one I liked the best . They are awesome in there own right . I think the Mansion was just special . Yes I would live in it year round . When you are first starting out you think you need more . When you get older less is more . I was 13 when they added fm to radios . Love what you do !

Vintage camping trailer owners know how to decorate their trailers as well as the sites to stay with vintage themes. You'll often see plastic pink flamingos, too. Visitors like yourself who see these trailers always leave with smiles on their faces after they've had a peek. Our last vintage trailer was a 1976 Argosy. Argosy trailers were made by Airstream during the 1970s and served as prototypes for future models. For example, you first saw the panoramic window on an Argosy (like the ones in your video) long before these windows were on Airstreams. My guy must have had 7 or 8 vintage trailers of several makes and models before the Argosy. He also had a '64 Chevy panel truck that pulled a little Trailblazer, his first. The truck was painted turquoise. The trailer was both turquoise and white. The pair was a real head turner going down the highway. My guy and I hosted a vintage camping trailer rally in Wisconsin for six years (2013-2018). We invited people from the campground as well as folks in the area to check out the trailers during an open house held on one afternoon of the weekend rally. The visitors were able to vote for their favorite and we awarded a "People's Choice" trophy to the winner. A couple things about vintage trailers. If you see "wings" on the trailer, it's a Shasta. If you see shutters on the windows, it's a Trailblazer. Avions can be both a matte metal finish or shiny. And those "silver bullet" Airstreams, they are just plain iconic. How cool that you discovered the vintage trailers while you were camping. Thank you for sharing your video. Seeing it brought back wonderful memories when we hit the road and met many nice people at vintage trailer rallies, some of whom are still friends that we see regularly.

I had to Google those... Muscadine grapes (Muscadinia rotundifolia; formerly Vitis rotundifolia) are truly a fruit for the South. Native to the Southeastern United States, they were discovered by the early colonists and have been a favorite fruit of Southerners ever since. Unlike table grapes that ripen simultaneously in a pendulous bunch, muscadines ripen individually in loose clusters. Compared to other grape species, muscadine grapevines may produce almost eight-fold yields of other grapes.

This was so fun to watch! I am 60 and planning on having a small trailer to travel in by 62 when I retire, so I can rent my Mobile Home in Melbourne Beach during the winter months... people pay crazy money to rent here no matter the size or age of your home because they are a fun community, and it is between the beach and the River w/3 pools and jacuzzi and lots of other stuff. Like you, I fell madly in love with the magenta Shasta you showed with the tub! It is also built the year I was born, so your video may have changed my mind about getting a newer style fiberglass trailer to looking at vintage... maybe specifically 1963. Awww your so sweet we are frome Melbourne Eric house was Wickham and eau gallie and my house was on Minton and palm bay rd such a small world we sold both homes during the pandemic for our tiny house dreams. We bought a 5th wheel and moved to the mountains where we are developing a property we purchased out here partly for the RV and 2 tinyhome airbnb spots. It certainly is a small world! You lived right where we built Promise in Brevard, which is where my daughter lives independently now. She is high functioning autistic and legally blind... she has some vision and can read 1/2" print and she is rocking the world now. She only has a caregiver once a week to help her budget, grocery shop healthier and help her get to appointments. I have been blessed. The only issue I have with her is that she refuses to tent camp. She grew up camping in an old Itasca and the full-time for a few years in a vintage Eagle bus that had belonged to a country singer. Where in the mountains are you guys now? Do you ever miss the Space Coast. I'm heading to the Port for an early celebration with fireworks tonight. 🎆 You are one of the first posts I commented on, but I liked your style and thought it was worth reaching out. 😉

@juliewilbanks5859 your daughter sounds amazing I'm so happy that she gets to be on her own doing her thing, tent camping is hard once you've been spoiled in a camper or bus conversion lol 😆 Eric has the same problem with me. My only thing is spiders I grew up in the outer islands of the Bahamas so I'm used to outdoor living cooking and even baths but creepy crackers on me at night sends me through the roof. I loved them 💓never had it before and I grew up in the Bahamas 🇧🇸 never knew what it was and was being adventurous that day. We learned and saw so many nostalgic things reminded me of my grandmother's house on the island 🏝 I enjoyed this show and will go again to do an updated video the host we're super sweet giving back stories of their journeys. Well My Trailer wasn’t there but one very similar was. We have a 1978 Argosy 30 by Airstream. It’s the only year they made a 30’. I was pleased to see ,I believe, 2 Argosy Trailers there. One on the shorter side and one 26’ example. Ours is mostly original. We have the Mid Twin Rear Bath layout with a Jack knife Sofa in front. Ours originally had the bunks above the mid twins but some previous owner removed them. With the Bunks our Trailer would sleep six. The bunks were arranged in a setup much like a Pullman Sleeper in that there were provisions to stow the bunk made up but out of the way. There’s just the two of us unless we have some of the Grands. It’s just the right size for 2 in my opinion. In fact a 35’ with the enclosed Bedroom would be ideal. There wasn’t a “Painted Airstream”, as the Argosy’s were called, in the 35’ length so eventually I’d like to get either an Airstream 35’ or an Avion 35’. I actually think the Avions were slightly higher quality than the Airstream. We had an Avion C-11, Pickup Truck Camper, a long time ago. It would sleep 4 generously!

@@NaturesNear What dates are the next show and where in NC? This was so cool that I may have to take a road trip. I have been meaning to try setting up a camping setup in my Ford Edge until I can find a trailer I love and can afford. It might be a good time to test it out. Plus, I would love to meet you, as you seem like good people! If close enough, I might have to make a side trip to Camp Hatteras in the Outer Banks. I ran recreation there for a Summer over 10 years ago when we traveled in an Eagle Bus FT, so I could give my special needs daughter the one on one teaching she needed and her teachers complained about.

I have my antique vehicles insured through American Collectors Insurance but was told it I towed something I wouldn't be covered. I noticed a couple of antique vehicles that has pulled the RV.
