@@embakubmotoring a small increase to the interest rate equates to a huge increase in the repayment and the fact that it is not guaranteed that you'll get a particular interest rate is crazy too 😂

@@rivoningo yeah so basically, remember that if a car is about R600k, you end up paying about R800k, due to the added interest, so the higher the percentage, the higher the interest you’ll be paying, so let’s say someone with 9% rate will be paying R200k interest, the other person with 13% experience a faster growth of that R200k so it’ll end up being R280k maybe even R300k in interest… So the rate one gets all depends on who they’re banking with, the relationship with the bank or whatever finance broker, and their credit record…
