They're called Blackhawks ok the WKTL website. But Mike's are heavily modified so they look very different. His are grinder to be as thin as possible.

Learn no spin ... MUCH more accurate. You can make knives from old car spring steel really, really cheap, to suit your own action and aplenty, so more throwing, better accuracy incentive and ... less strolling.. The distance involved here, I have to think these are axe throwers who haven't perfected no spin knife throwing. I was so excited to see this, then the rules came on the screen. Not one single throwing knife I own has a guard. The knives aren't sharp, what's the point of this stupid rule? Do they have no spin leagues? This is bush league stuff. I had my 8 year old niece sticking her shots with how they throw these.

A very kind manager of Axe & Grind in Nanaimo named Lucas helped me out today as it was my first time throwing anything. He brought out all sorts of axes, knives, and even a shovel! He explained to me that if you call a circle and hit it it counts as 8 points but you can only attempt that two times a game. Lucas was incredible, supportive, and made throwing look easy! I look forward to seeing Lucas in the next world competitions! We’re rooting for him!!!
