..just his first few minutes of explaining the release of the blade changed everything for me in rotational throwing. i am training no-spin, but i understand the value of learning other disciplines. The primary thing I've learned from all of these great instructors is that the blade has power. We only guide it. We don't "control" the blade. It's a dance.

Thanks for your detailed tutorial on throwing. You save my time from concluding the tips from lots of failures. Just started the throwing inspired by Adam. Currently practicing no-spin with Cold Steel Pro Flight Sport, which is 14 inches long and 317.5 grams of weight. The centre of mass is about in the middle. They are sturdy. Thinking got two more of those to form a set. Would you recommend me keep on this knife or get another set of knives? Thanks. ☀️
@soulthrower3 жыл бұрын
Those knives are ok for rotational but for no spin I would recommend a shorter blade. For me throwing rotational cold steel pro flight sport is a bit light... When I throw from 6 and 7 meters I often throw to hard with a light blade. 😇 Best start out knife for me is cold steel jack dagger thrower. But if you want a lighter blade your blade is good!! 👊😊 Check these models out: m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJyYpHSDeql1d6M

There are so many better custom rotational knives but as a first knife on a budget I would recommend “cold steel jack dagger thrower”. Just be sure to make it really dull when you get it because it comes sharp as hell and you don’t want that in a thrower. Here you have several of the cold steel throwers. 😇 m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJyYpHSDeql1d6M

How do I work on my aiming
@soulthrower2 жыл бұрын
Hi! I get this question a lot and I actually don´t have a good answer for you. How I did it was to throw tons of knives. Now I have the same rutine before every throw. I take a deep breath and exhale hold the tip of the blade on the bulls and then throw. Some told me but then you are aiming.... but I hold the same way no matter the distance so it isn´t aiming... it is focus. Sorry for a rambling answer... I kind of don´t aim... I feel how to release from experience. 😅🤙
