2022 WOW Thanksgiving Food Drive

Every year since 2008, Westchase, Florida has held a Thanksgiving Food Drive to aid Tampa's Metropolitan Ministries. It has become their largest community food drive of the year and helps feed thousands of people. This year a portion of the donations will be going to help victims of Hurricane Ian in South Florida. This community event began as an Eagle Scout project and now involves hundreds of volunteers. The drive takes place the Sunday before Thanksgiving. This year was a bit challenging because of rain but the drive went on and again raised a record amount of food.
