imo, the sound of underbelly akra on gen 1 xsr900 is so much better than any kind of aftermarket exhaust on gen 2.

@@davidgardner925 yea no. I have rebuilt plenty over the last 23 years of being a mechanic. never had to rebuild a Yamaha or honda (motorcycle) top end. Harley, triumph twins, Indians etc… plenty.

@@davidgardner925brother the couple second bounce on the stock limiter range isn’t doing anything on a Yamaha with a fuel cut limiter. If it was a spark cut then maybe you’d have a point. Knowing the difference is important. But that has more nuance that your “rev limiter bad” take.

that is the SC Project S1 full exhaust. that is currently my favorite looking exhaust for XSR900. glad you enjoyed the video. thanks remco!

wonderful sound on the Sc project S1. Is it the same Sc S1 exhaust system as for Yamaha mt09 2021-2022. can't find any system for Xsr900(2022) on their site..

XSR900 sounds best while engine breaking around 4200 rpms. At the rev limiter they all sound the same.

The stock sounds better but just not loud. Sc would be the go if you want to wake up the neighbours. Aka much the same and the m4 ill pass.
