Total fun absolutely. Great time if you have kids, too as opposed to owning a big boat nobody can fix no matter what it costs.

Good point. And as Jet Skis and personal watercraft get bigger they are more comfortable for families, and yet still small enough to store up the side of the house, or take less room in the garage than a boat.

I'm sure I was not the only one to doing stand-up stunts on my wave runner in the 90s long before the tricks that ever been thought about

Same, but I don't understand the big deal about doing wheelies on a PWC - it's no big deal and I don't understand Sea-Doo's obsession about it.

Looking for a worthy upgrade to my 1992 Waverunner III... and after watching this video, my answer is "All of the above". However I still can't find a worthy replacement for my 1998 Waveblaster.

Are you Australians going to be aloud to do anything this year?
Probably have government goons at the launch ramps taking people to jail for trying to leave their houses.

hey guys I just rode my first jetski last weekend and I believe it was a 2022 Yamaha I'm not sure but regardless it was an amazing time and made me want to buy one... I'm looking at different videos to see which ones were better and I honestly want anyones/everyones opinion on which jetski you would recommend. my budget is round 10k max so any recommendations and why would be appreciated thank you. also idk if most jetskis are 2 seaters or not ? but id prefer one that is a 2 seater ( dumb question sorry )

i have a 21 exr (same as 22 jetblaster) top speed of 54mph, super light and a ton of fun for solo riding and capable of pulling tubes and wakeboards. i can ride all day long and still have plenty of gas. its rated for 3 people as most skis are nowadays but its really meant for just one rider and maybe a passenger if needed, the thing only weighs like 550lbs and is not the most stable with additional riders. Im looking into either a vx cruiser or fx cruiser for added goodies and stability on my next ski. definitely depends on what you want to do with your ski! overall still happy af with my exr, 360s are too easy! 10/10 beginner solo ski. if planning on always having another person with you maybe look into vx lineup. msrp was just under 10k but taxes/fees/trailer/warranties shit adds up!

Waveblaster & waveblaster 2 were not " stand ups" that was the superjet.

Fair observation, thanks for pointing it out. Most online photos of 1990s WaveBlasters in action show the thing getting major air like a stand-up. You're right though, it has a seat (damn they were small back then!). In our coverage we have said Yamaha is aiming to inject "some of the fun of a stand-up" with the new 2022 Yamaha JetBlaster. Thanks for the note.

There were 2 gp colors last year not just black and green
@WatercraftZone3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the note. That was true for the US, however Australia only got one choice of colour for GP1800R SVHO in 2021. We've had two colour options before so it's great to have two colours back for this model. The US has three colours this year, so you guys are spoiled for choice!

right, he did say Australia had 1 color

@@JK-hd2zb Don't worry, we'd love more colours, especially across other Yamaha models. But given our market size it makes it difficult to stock so many options.

Better than seadoo it will last longer and less maintenance

Explain why
@streetfighteralpha98913 жыл бұрын
@@joshuahales2372 Sea Doos have fragile carbon seals and an engine prone to windage or blowby. Sea Doos can’t be run out of the water for more than a few seconds so it’s easier to damage while cleaning. Overall less efficient engine than Yamaha.

NIGHTMARE!!!!! I bought a 2022 fx cruiser HO. Screen won't turn on sometimes. One time at the lake the entire screen freaked out and thought I was out of the geo fence. Kept screaming at me. Couldn't turn it off or change the settings as somehow the code changed. Yamaha could care less. Offered no support. My boat has been at the dealers for over a month. Frustrated does not even cover it. I hope you have better luck me.

Yikes. Trying to get a new GP HO. Not available. Any I've seen have the audio and I DON'T WANT THE AUDIO. They push features that people don't want.
@andrewray87842 жыл бұрын
@@martysk8r finally got the screen fixed. Yamaha was absolutely ZERO help. Appalling how little they cared. It was the dealer after I pitched a fit was able to track down a screen and get it installed. If it were up to Yamaha I would still have a brand new ski collecting dust.

Sorry we didn't reply to this earlier. The 2022 and 2023 Yamaha FX WaveRunners seem to have an issue that causes the low-fuel warning buzzer to go off too soon - and the "fuel used" portion of the trip computer resets every time you switch off the ignition. This makes it hard to accurately measure (to the litre or to the gallon) how much fuel you have used during a long day on the water (in our experience, the trip computer is more accurate than the fuel gauge). We are hopeful Yamaha WaveRunner finds a solution for 2024 models - and that the fix can be retro-fitted to 2022 and 2023 models. We will be sure to post any updates on this - if and when they happen - on our website WatercraftZone.com.au Thanks for the feedback and sorry to hear of your dilemma. Fortunately / unfortunately you are not alone.

These jetskis are big, 3.3-3.5 metres. A small jet powered rib style boat would be better.
