Looks like a cable clutch. Am I missing something or aren't hydraulic clutches the way to go? I have a 2016 Beta and love the hydro clutch over my previous CRFX with a cable clutch, one finger clutching all day.

Don’t worry about the cable clutch, my 21 WR250fs cable set up Is as light as they come And that’s coming from hydraulic Setup‘s

Haha every guy that drives with hydraulic clutches 😅 try one instead of talking. If its hard its either a worn out cable or weak hands .

@@Freklund Try one? I just said I came from a CRF (450X), plus I have still have an XR650R and have had many street and dirt bikes. It was a different world when I got my Beta with the hydro, one finger clutching all day, way lighter than anything else I've had.

@@jaya8352 yeah but then u hade a bad cable. Cable needs service to but often ppl forget that. Ive driven with both and my latent husky wasn't easier to pull then my Yamahas or Hondas . Neither one of my husabergs as well so i vall it BS that a hydro is easier over time and on honda if u compare u guess it may be . But manage ypur service and its not 🙂

@@Freklund Let's say you're correct and I had a bad cable (don't think so, but...), the experts say not to lubricate cables because it traps grit and makes it worse, so would need a new cable. Hydraulic systems don't gradually increase drag, as you're saying a cable does over time. So if you're correct that comparing hydro to cable at new they are the same resistance for the same pull force (I believe not), then still over time the cable will be harder to pull than the hydro. Plus I operated my first manual clutch at least 35 years ago and countless examples since, and I'm telling you, hydro clutches have less pull friction than cable, and it's simple to understand why.
