What a fabulous show. I can clearly watch myself in the crowd in this clip! I think this is possibly the definitive post 70s line-up. Best bass player since Lemmy, Best keyboards ever.

Sadly I never saw them before 1982 but musically this line up is as good as I've ever seen them. Won't be the same when Dave hangs up his touring boots.

That’s my favourite Hawkwind album (if I was forced to choose one) Would it be the same without Calvert though? I gave up smoking puff a while back but I may just light a chilum for Chronoglide Skyway especially if the guitar solo played out for 20 odd minutes 😊

No we don't.. One of the worst Hawkwind albums.. And Dave Brock agrees, because upon hearing Astounding Sounds on vinyl for the first time, he took the record off the record player, and frisbeed it out of the window!

ISO 8601, International standard date notation. Easy to sort files in a list using this format and old habits die hard :)
