@@olderuglierandwiserSinead was horribly abused by her Mother yet she fought everything, these were great times for Musicians to stand up to Social Injustices, it didn’t happen anymore, the abuse was a vehicle for their passion. Roger Waters has a strong propelling voice to this day, I wish more were like him. How many genocides are we live streaming and all these “Artists” are quiet. It’s shameful and a deep scar on humanity.

The night of the show a lot of problems happened. I remember clearly that Danko and Helm made a mistake (one said "clean" and the other "warm" in the same moment) and Waters shook his head smiling bitterly. This video DVD (and the old VHS too) is edited with the performance of the rehearsals. By the way I still envy you for being there in that incredible night. Waters and the O'Connor didn't get along at all. A lot of harsh words between them flew during the years.

Think about what it takes to stand up there and belt it out with Roger, Levon and Rick as your backup harmony. What a lady, an angel now and forever.

She's my favorite musician of all time. Voice as powerful as anyone I've listened to in my lifetime. Her best quality however , she gave zero f*cks, fewer than zero if she could. She's the one person who used her platform purely for the good of others. The only one. I miss her. I'll always miss her. I'm welling up writing this.

Awesome version. This concert was celebrating the wall coming down in Berlin and the defeat of communism and the soviets. It was a huge event. Families separated by that wall for decades were re-united, etc.

Sinead’s voice is the most expressive instrument I’ve heard. And the Band the soul of music; can’t help thinking she and the great Garth had a moment as he put the finishing touches on the piece.

There is something special about Roger and how he makes the magic. I Love David and how he gives us their songs, but Roger is VERY creative ... the accordion is AMZING ! Sinead fits perfectly with the Band guys and this haunting poem of a rock song ... Magic music !

👏 - I admit NOT having listened to Sinead sing more than a handful of songs in my 70ish yrs. THIS was a 💖 heart wrenching cover of a 45+ y.o. 🌟 PF song imho - her strong voice came out full of passion, emotion, and ‘life’ that I was close to tears 😥. It’s unusual for me to find someone who I feel does justice to the original, and more rare when I think theirs is better - which in this case I think hers was. And now ✝️ may she be @ ☮️ + forever RIP 🪦 . * I’m very glad 😊 YT ‘found’ this video for me today 🙏!
