As a Longhorn fan, I am not afraid or ashamed to say that this Oklahoma Sooners Women's Softball team is absolutely my favorite team in college...!! It's easy to say that because they see the bigger picture in life and they're not afraid to talk openly and unashamedly about what is most important to them, and that is their dynamic, radical love relationship with Christ. To me, that sets them apart...and it begins at the top with Coach Gasso and the Coaching Staff. Thank you ladies, for being a sweet refreshment in a very dark world.

This team has gone down into the record books. 61-1 is the greatest winning percentage season. 53 and counting game winning streak is unthinkable in this day and age of parity softball. Also, it’s common to lose to far inferior teams a couple times a season. These ladies put in the work, mentally, and physically. It’s got to be hard to have an ultra-talented team, and then get 100% buy in. Stars usually want to shine alone. Kudos to Patty, and all her amazing staff.

Coach Gasso is a fine coach and a fine person and it's obvious she cares about her players major congratulations to the team in the entire staff, seasons like this or so very rare. These players do their best to follow God and they're not ashamed of it, in my mind that allows them to scream and dance and celebrate as much as they want, they have learned that especially now. Just a couple quick observations and I'll shut up how are they going to replace Grace Lyons at shortstop. She is as reliable as a soup spoon there. People look at OU's batting when it's their defense that is often times mistake-free or close to it. And Jaday Coleman makes those kind of caches in her sleep every night. I saw it and will probably never forget that afternoon she practically went over the wall to steal a homerun from the longhorns last season. Can't wait to see what next season will bring, you guys are not too far away from an undefeated season believe it or not.

She did go where there was no talent and won. When she got to OU they literally played on city park fields where they had to make way for the slow pitch softball league games. So you are crying about her using the resources she created? A person’s “privilege” as you call it is not the result of their own hard work. That’s called a legacy.

We Christians have one job going forward: fulfilling the great commission, spreading the gospel of Christ Jesus to everyone we know and everyone we meet. We must show all people looking at us, what a follower of Jesus looks and sounds like. We must grow stronger in the faith as the days become more evil, and we face more hardships and challenges. For the harvest is plentiful and the workers are few, so let us go out today and bring more people into the everlasting kingdom of God and Heaven, while we have the time and ability and freedom, and let us not be divided by this or any other issue that is not a salvation issue. In the mighty and beautiful name of our Lord God, King, and Saviour; Christ Jesus, we pray: Amen, hallelujah, peace, and Maranatha.

To show what was written. Just because they say God has determined the outcome, doesn't mean they aren't supposed to play. "Written" in this context doesn't mean it was literally written. This moment in time isn't known to them but they accept the outcome is in God's hands. You know what has been literally written and proven to be true billions of times over? Men are men, and women are women. FSU promoted pride, OU promoted truth.
