The Commander’s own Tight End had TWO very bad ( and looked to be on purpose) hits in consecutive weeks a few games ago….I don’t even think that there was a flag thrown! Yet the refs not only call Forbes for an unavoidable,grazing hit……they actually called from the NFL office in New York to have him ejected?? Where were they when Logan Thomas had those blatant and very scary helmet to helmet hits that I spoke of earlier??? I guess the t.v.s weren’t working in NewYork at the NFL building on those weekends…disgusting.

​@apecentury228 it was helmet to helmets but he did not launch at receiver. If receiver would not have dropped in elevation to where his knee was almost on the ground it would have been a hit into his shoulder pad.

I'm not a fan of either team. Definitely not a fan of the NFL. Endless commercials and shameful pandering along with stuff like this is exactly why I haven't watched a full NFL game in 5+ years. College football has it's issues but it's a lot more compelling. There was a whole lot of acting. Flopping like NBA, FIFA and WWE. This type of play needs to be reviewable.

Clearly leading with helmet, drspite forward position of flailing outstretched arms. The defender displayed intent to use his helmet as a weapon for maximum impact against a more or less helpless player trying to knock the ball loose rather than just tackle. This is the gray area the NFL is yrying to figure out how to clean up. Defensive players looking for turnovers not just tackles. The latter lends itself to brutal collision and personal injury, not just in the present but down the road with TMI. It's yhe difference between a blood sport and a competitive game. Pick one or the other.

@ApolloAgain penalty, I can see the case. I just don't know how much more he could have done. Shoulder hit first. Defense has got to play. Accidentally hit the helmet after contact. It would be nice if the NFL had a rule that would allow for incidents like this where it was only a 5 yd penalty the first time. As you know 15 yd penalties are game changers.

It’s not that hard to diagnose. If he used good form that would have been a normal hit. Where it’s hard is when the receivers duck down. Lockett didn’t do that here.

He clearly ducked down that's why he didn't catch the ball because he saw Forbes coming in his perithial view and naturally he tried to duck and protect himself before impact thing is Forbes has already began his tackling motion and couldn't re aim his body and contact angel which is why this was a *Bullshit Call* just like the "roughing the passer" call we got against the *PATs* last week or them calling Terry McLaurin catch out *against the Eagles when we played them down to the last possession as well, And they literally went to replay to confirm the bad call on the field and had *clear video evidence he was in bounds* and they still called him out.🤦🏾‍♂️ The NFL is a rigged Joke! That was going to be head to head regardless and in that situation it is on the defender to make that not happen.
