We just bought an ex-l and the first thing i noticed was how smooth the cvt operates even under heavy acceleration, and how well tuned the suspension was. These two things made this car the smoothest vehicle ive ever rode in.

I just bought a 2025 HRV EX-L. I had a 2019 HRV EX, but I was hit from behind and it was deemed a total loss. Such an improvement over the first gen. I loved my 2019, but this 2025 is super nice. Thanks for showing some of those tech tools. I was really surprised by the door lock under the driver handle. The only thing I cannot get figured out is the wireless charger.

I have the same vehicle and all you have to do to turn off the day time running lights are turn the light switch to "off" when the vehicle is running. The switch will then go back to the auto position but the light will be off even at night. To turn them back on you then turn the switch to off again and the day time running lights will come back on. Ive never had to hit the parking brake or turn the car off.

I got the new 2025 HRV and I honestly prefer my 22 HRV. Phone won’t connect, the car is huge in size and I thought I’d get use to it as I drive it but I feel like I’m driving a huge truck. Also the car isn’t gas efficient in my opinion like the 22 since it had the eco setting

The first generation HRVs did have a smaller engine 1.8L and now the second generation has a 2.0L. You're right that they do drive differently. First Gen was built on the Fit Platform while second gen is on the civic platform.

Hey Chris, I have a 2022 Honda Pilot and when I turn the car off, the radio will play until I open the drivers side door. I also have the 2025 HR-V elx. The Remote start does run for 10 minutes and can be extended by repeating the process. Lets say that five minutes past and then you repeated the process, the remote start will run for the total of 15 minutes.

Some helpful info, I spoke with the maintenance department of the Honda dealership, and explained to them that after approximately 1300 miles, my “ maintenance is due” light turned on. And I have no idea why, after only 1300 miles. -Keep in mind, I purchased the vehicle last October, so it is less than a year old. That is what confused me. -They said that the computer registers maintenance, by the mileage, or if it has not been in the shop for maintenance within six months. I kind of understand because my situation is not common, it is going to turn a year-old in a few weeks, and has less than 2000 miles --so they explain to me that the car sensors if it has not had any maintenance, it will give a warning light, not taking into account, the low mileage, but the fact that it has been almost a year - I know this isn’t uncommon situation, but maybe it will help others, because there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. It was just a warning light that needed to be reset.

"S" Mode does the following on the 2023 Honda HRVs (P.409 Owners Manual) ● Better acceleration. ● Used to increase engine braking. ● Used when going up or down hills.

Yes you can. There's a button on the fob looks like a hatch is opening but it's just to unlock the hatch while keeping the other doors locked

Is the vehicle on when you walk away with the vehicle? If so the vehicle is warning you that it's running and thinking that you forgot to turn it off. If this is the situation there is NO setting to disable the beep.

@@CrazyHondaChris-H18 I went from a passport elite in 4 years I only had 33 k miles on it, to this 2024 compact i knew about some of the options that I wasn’t getting on the 24 HRV have to say the longer I have this car the more I love this compact car, also I think it attractive , it’s a fabulous car for a compact, i test drove several, the HRV was a clear winner in many categories for me. Also it’s a 5 star crash rating I’m told.

I would double-check for updates on the phone. Then check if you're using an aftermarket cable. Sometimes, they don't work.
