I bought allure instead of this and pulled a Matthew tkachuk purple diamond /10 and an hypnosis of Logan Couture. That product is way better for the money in my opinion.

UD needs to do better. I think i've seen only 1 or 2 boxes come even close to having much value. A bunch of $2-$5 cards in a product that expensive is ridiculous.

It's not just SPX and it's not just Upper Deck. It's almost impossible to come out ahead opening anything.

@@hitboxsportscards Exactly. Pokemon and other sports is the exact same thing. Also UD doesn't control prices. All cards are subjective to what people are willing to pay.

@@kaypgrowth yup I buy my boxes at wholesale and the distributor prices are over retail on some products.

@@kaypgrowth Not a price issue. Its a value issue. UD controls what cards go into the packs. Of all this years products SPx is probably the worst at this. Extended series was actually very good value imo. If you sell something for this high a price and the hit card is usually less than $20 in value its a major problem. If the hit was $50 and up with a chance for a huge card then yes i would buy it. But that just is not the case here.

@@Steussie I agree, but at the same time I also deal with pokemon and getting the "chase card" in a $200 box usually either breaks even or you make a very little amount unless you grade it and comes back a 10. If you hit a "chase card" in these it's most likely worth way more than the box.

Painful to watch people opening these UD rip off products. It’s like watching people open “‘mystery packs” or repacks. 100% chance of disappointment. Yet people keep buying!
